i had no idea it was desirable, i nearly threw it away! hope someone who gets it can do this kind of thing! very cool, i just aint got the patience for stuff like this.
@mikejoecollins This was my second attempt at a racing game with PS2 yabasic, the first which was more like wipeout without powerups/weapons was a complete game with less graphic detail than the F1 but had 5 circuits, 1 player (up to 3 ai) or 2 player split screen and full race replays with various camera angles. Unfortunately I don't have my PS2 anymore but I do have the code around somewhere. I also did an anaglyph version but I don't have the code for that.
Where can you actually get Yabasic? My friend has this and I badly want it, I know Sony packaged it with early UK and Irish PS2's, but where else can you get it?
wow! i didnt realise how impressive this could be! i could only program a 2D guy that u could move around the screen but his eyes left his face if u tried to move in a certain direction lol i had lag problems too because of the buffering, i think
Your from europe right becuase Im from the u.s and alot of things that was made for the ps2 is not coming there why I guess its becuase the u.s suck.Life is a bitch.
Sony supplied YaBasic with the PS2 in some regions for tax reasons, they could say it was a programmable computer (only just) instead of a games console.
theres one on ebay UK right now... ;)

@hineskamau08 The U.S got the Linux Kit. Is this the same as the YaBasic kit?
