I'm a Vet and I want Ron Paul for president. The media is ignoring the only candidate that isn't obviously planing on selling out the wealth of working men. Bailouts and war equal the poor pay for rich peoples life styles. Let rich people work for their wealth again by making a system where only the productive gain wealth. No more free rides on the back of the Fed's inflation tax. They want to make a world that is so expensive that the only way to live is to barrow money at interest. No more!

Rand Paul was the only one in the group brave enough to say that national defense spending needs to be part of the negotiating process.

Sorry, but it just didn't work out. Ron Paul didn't get the Republican nomination, or any party nomination, and has no chance at all for an independent run.

We like him because he's for peace, freedom and prosperity of course :-) Peaceful international relations, protect civil liberties, small laissez-faire government; though Belgium does quite well on the first two issues, we do a very, very poor job on the last one.
I think a lot would be different with a smaller government (less social security); Flanders wouldn't have to pay for Walloonian welfare, and the Walloons wouldn't be so scared of a potential break-up and loosing all the welfare money.

We like him because he's for peace, freedom and prosperity of course :-) Peaceful international relations, protect civil liberties, small laissez-faire government; though Belgium does quite well on the first two issues, we do a very, very poor job on the last one.
I think a lot would be different with a smaller government (less social security); Flanders wouldn't have to pay for Walloonian welfare, and the Walloons wouldn't be so scared of a potential break-up and loosing all the welfare money.

Well anyways I don't know how to define a "great country", there are some things I like better about western Europe and some I like better about the U.S....
