  • Glenn sounds amazing, but the band sucks

  • fodástico!!!!

  • HAIL TV CULTURA!!!!!

  • monton de weones el publico.

  • I feel a deep respect and admiration to Glenn. Love his albums with Tony Iommi. They are the best of friends and he's a Brummie too. Long live Glenn! Long live TONY!

  • Nice spin on an amazing Black Sabbath song!

  • Awesome keyboard intro and of course great song!

  • 6:09 Agudo com drive lindo! =)

  • I saw this program live and this people had no idea who was Glenn Hughes and the host boy just mentioned he was one of the Sabbath's vocalist, didn't say anything about his history came from Deep Purple and stuff.. But it was nice to see him live for the 1st time..

  • The guitar player sucks!!!! Kill him!

  • ''THE DUDE THAT'S ON THE KEYBOARD'' is Geoff Nichols..we can consider him like the fifth black sabbath..from 1980 to 1995 in their albums and many live shows!

  • @0o0Simo0o0 I dunno....he sure looks a lot like SoCal keyboard man Hans Zermuehlan....

  • @0o0Simo0o0 So it IS him? I thought so, but didn't know he was a close friend with Glenn, at least not good enough to do something like this. Anyway, I first thought that "man, this session keyboardist has got great connection to the material" and of course, he helped write lots of it ^^ The man behind amazing material such as the intro to "Nightmare", "Stonehenge", "Battle of Tyr" etc... What a great keyboardist he is, hope to see him live some day, with Tony Martin perhaps?

  • brilliant song well sung by great singer

  • he should work with heaven and hell and go out and tour another metal masters tour, this time wit metallica, saxon, queensryche maybe armoured saint., glenn hughes is the perfect singer in this time of loss of r j d. ronnie would be honored. hell may ian gillen. i need to see this one more time. where s tony martin. sabbath need to keep on rockn ronnie whould love it.

  • Muito muito muito muito perfeita essa musica!!!

  • Silencio y escuchen!

  • Não digo todos! Mas a maioria dos jovens não sabiam a dimensão de um dos maiores ícones do rock que estava ali diante deles!!

  • Hughes with Rata Blanca sounds much better. Masshred has a good point, sounds too thin..........

  • this ain't exactly a sabbath tune, iommi's original intention, was to be a solo project, but the record company would'nt allow it, n forced him to call it sabbath

  • Comment removed

  • NEVER play SABBATH with single coil pickups.

  • @masshred He actually is using a mini humbucker in the bridge. Guitar player looks like

    Bart Walsh.

  • great song i wish they had tony as a guest

  • His singing sounds slightly out of tune :-(

  • Tragicaly impressive is the constatation about how and the extension that the good musicians loose spaces in programation of the great Tvs in Brazil.

  • What a song!! What a band!!!!!!

  • Mas esse Glenn Hughes canta muito.....toda vez q lembro desse video eu tenho q assisitr!!!!!!

  • anyone remember that whole fight thing....someone punched Glen for fucking around on his girlfriend or something..and he developed a nasal drip or something? He was having a hard time hitting all the high notes in SEVENTH STAR ...thats when the great Ray Gillen came in.......

  • @SonnyGTA / That story was bullshit it was a cover story.for all the Coke and Crack he was doing that got him kicked off the tour. He was a mess!

  • glenn is the best thing that ever happend to black sabbath i dont care wat anybody says

  • @MrJujubies1 And you do a great thing.I think the best for Sabbath was Dio and im pissed of when people start saying you asshole Ozzy was.The same goes with my Deep Purple favourite mark mk3.They all start bitching and saying that im an asshole and mark 2 is the best.Like i cant have an opinion for my favourite bands.Anyway man

    LONG LIVE ROCK N ROLL

  • @MrJujubies1 I respect you for that opinion I personally prefer Tony, but I love all eras except Gillen, he sucks. Overrated in my book. But Glenn was great. No denying that.

  • Could you please also post the rest of this show ?

I know that they also played the songs "Neverafter", "Might Just Take Your Life", "Gettin' Tighter" and "Stormbringer"

  • Foi muito bom rever o Glenn Hughes no Turma da Cultara um dos melhores programas de musicas variadas q já teve pena que acabou.

  • Glenn is amazing (but this audience sucks!) ;D

  • Sounds and looks great to me. I longed to see Deep Purple back when and missed them every time at Long Beach Arena. The last time with Tommy Bolin would've been nice. Glenn and David Coverdale together sounds great but have always liked Glenn's voice solo, especially on the Tony Iommi Black Sabbath album. Good song.

  • This is top of the sucks, guitar solo is beautiful, they should put a playback on this

  • Um dos melhores vocalistas da história do rock (em todos os gêneros).

  • Hans Zermullen is on Keys....We did this show in 1999...I'm playing drums-Bob Harsen

  • wish Glenn could UK TV show like this! Brazilianaudiences always Rock!

There is too much musical pigeon holeing the UK from root to branch.

    LFJ

  • The BEST VOICE EVER !!!!

  • if its his touring band from that time then it is mic michaeli from europe on the keyboards

  • Does anyone know what song are they playing as a intro? It sounds beautiful.

  • Studio version is better

  • ESTa gente SON LOS AUTENTICOS , que cancion mas buena ,

  • Very weird.... this guitar play has it all over Iommi. Now I do understand Iommi is a metal icon. But he does suck ass.

  • @jfrockon Go fucking kill yourself you stupid fuck.

  • man this audience really sucks ..

  • WE NEED TONY IOMMY HERE! lol

  • ZOOM 505

    HEHE

  • Bandinha fraca demais pra acompanhar o cara...

  • @andrepompeu

Até que ficou boa essa apresentação, mesmo a banda sendo fraca, a voz do Hughes já vale por tudo.

  • This an amazing song !

  • this song demands tony iommi

  • Glenn is amazing, the guitar does suck a bitt in this vid,but Glenn saves it,Sabbath had soul when he was with them!

  • DECADENTE :(

  • he had very awful career during 80s struggling with his addictions. I thinks this song is some answer to himself wrote with his long-time friend Tony Iommi for Iommi's first solo album in 1986 which was released as Black Sabbath after pressure from the label. I think this is the best he did in bad period in 80s. I like Seventh Star album so much. This shows exactly how incredible he is singin' even Heavy Metal. He IS THE Real VOICE of Rock. God Bless Him!

  • Esse público de muleques ai nem imagina quem é esse cara.... não tem idéia de quem seja a peça... o cara é Glenn Hunghes... bando de manésss.

  • Jesus, where did the guy learn to play the guitar? He's 1000% out of tune. Call Iommi to teach him a thing or two.

  • Yes ...ME !! a great song from that album........in memory.> black sabbath

  • Extremely good song from an extremely overlooked album. I'm a Sabbath fan that appreciates all their eras including the new Heaven and Hell band. Anyone else?

  • hey, hey mate

  • Que raridade isso! Chama a atenção o público do programa também.

  • muitooo rarooo mesmo,, imagina, hughes no turma da cultura, quem poderia imaginar,,, pouca gente sabe disso......

  • Read 'Sabbath Bloody Sabbath - The Battle For Black Sabbath' book. Great interviews with Glenn about his time in Sabbath, and why he left etc.

  • 2:22 to 3:00 POWERFULL

  • Glenn is the voice of the rock no question about it. My favorites are Phenomena, project X, Hughes Turner project are the best. Dance with the davil, who's watching you, belive, devil's road, Phoenix rising is yet another best, no stranger to love, stop.

  • great 7th star tune by sabbath didn't know he did solo!

  • the dude thats on the keyboard 0:11 looks like Glenn Hughes from the original video for 'No stranger to love'

  • lol, you're right. I was confused at first

  • yeah , me too o.O

  • @drinkcorrea LOL same here

  • @ShaneMullaney yeah, i thought that was him :P

  • @ShaneMullaney Its actually Geoff Nicholls, he played keyboard with sabbath after the ozzy years :P

  • @ShaneMullaney You are totally right. And somehow I think he is really cool. I don't know why.

  • @ShaneMullaney The guy on keyboards is Hans Zermuehlen, played with Frank Gambale, Air Supply just to name a few...great musician and friend.

  • @ShaneMullaney I was going to comment the same!!!! lol!

  • @ShaneMullaney Oh yes...I had the same impression!!!!!

  • Why didn't Glenn play bass on seventh star instead of mark spitzs?.......the iommi/hughes dep sessions is very good!!!

  • for the guitarrist: you will never play good the Iommi's song. Sorry but try another job.

  • The song credit is (Iommi), which is wrong, Geoff Nichols wrote the music along with Tony, and Glenn Hughes wrote the lyrics.

  • Glenn is SOOO Cool!

He gets better on his pursuit!

  • Best Sabbath ballad, veryyyyyyy gooood

  • This is a fuck of a lot better than the rendering of the same song with Rata Blanca....he sounds magnificent here.

  • Fantastic performance from the Voice of Rock. Thanks for putting this up. I love the 'Seventh Star' album, and this song is a classic.

  • great version, really!!! Thanx for posting

  • Actually the reason Glenn couldn't finish the tour wasn't coke! He was punched in a fight and had congealed blood in his throat which caused him to lose his voice and he needed an op to sort it out! Thank god he's ok and we get to hear that fantastic voice, go Glenn!

  • That is absolutely true...but he admits to a major coke problem at the time too that was already causing issues. Another problem was that he was uncomfortable onstage singing with just a mike, no bass or other instrument, and he looked it.

  • God bless Brazilian women...and thanx for putting this up...

  • Best sabbath ballad, maybe. But, come on glenn! The singing here is not his best.

  • Better than when he couldn't even finish the '86 tour because he was so coked up.

  • fuuuuuuuuuuuuudidoooooooooooooooo!

  • A Classical!

  • Best Sabbath "ballad" if you ask me. Beautiful!

  • damn great !

  • THIS DEVIL WON'T GO! This song is just great, true Sabbath classic!

  • Just amazing as always Glenn!

  • Long Live GH!!!!

  • thank's!
