I tried this recently, I dunno if it's just me who's not into the whole style of gameplay or whatever it may be; but I can't help but find this dreadfully boring, the graphics are terrible compared to the release-year (I dare say) and I really do not get the storyline one single bit. Which is sad, 'cause I really wanted to give this game a chance, it looked promising in the trailer. Sadly I am only disappointed with the results.

I think that its true that RPG games are translated nowdays to a game where you raise stats...really RPG=Role playing game=assassins creed is rpg,adventure,open world and other things so I think that this ''translation'' has started from WoW or older game that has stat raising... For instance, Zelda games aren't RPG's even though you play the role of Link. Same with Assassin's Creed. While they both have some RPG elements (the ability to increase your health and get new stronger weapons) they don't have the basis of an RPG, levelling and increasing base stats... I sound like a nerd. xD

FF has good story, each of them do :] and are thus far best RPG's that provide more fantasy than any other who are totally cliche. The only RPG on PC that can be praised is Oblivion. Forget Baldur's Gate and similar text based shit of the old century...new games are all about RPG - exploration, intuition, free will and more than anything - nice graphic that will feed your soul with AWSOME :} :}
