all i will say Lord, is thank you for: Living Sacrifice,Demon Hunter,Saving Grace,Ark of the Covenant,For Today,Sleeping Giant,The Great Commision,War of Ages,As Hell Retreats,As I Lay Dying,August Burns Red,The Showdown,Times of Grace,Messengers,Once Dead,Fasedown,The burial,The Famine,Mortal Treason...and lesser heavy Decyfer Down,Skillet,RED,Flyleaf,Disciple,12 Stones & Project 86...nothing else to say really...I grew up in the 80's but metal to me was Anthrax,Metallica,Testament,Exodus etc.
Man, this brings back some memories. This was one of the first metal bands I got into (alongside Bloodgood, Deliverence and Barren Cross). And while I may be an atheist now as a grizzled mid-30's adult, this music still rocks! Great post!
I loved it as a kid, and the cool thing is, after years of getting out of it, and not totally falling away from faith but living very secularly many years, I've come full circle and not only renewing my liking of many old school Christian metal bands but also renewing my faith in Christ.
One thing about it, every christian song out there , no matter how old it is, the message still stays the same, it never changes, its as true today as it was back then
Never heard of these guys before. Pretty good.

Wish the current Christian metal bands of today would put this strong of a message. Praise God for the message of salvation!
