N.W.O.B.H.M. grows on you!! so give it more than 1 or 2 tries. to be honest i think most people that like it are mature/experienced metalheds, not all though.
I ♥ this song from the moment I heard it. I really like the lyrics and message and could totally relate to what they are saying. Gawd, I gotta live up to my potential !
Fantastic, takes me right back to the late 70's when my elder brother followed ETF round Yorkshire. I even had an ETF sticker on the back of my Raleigh Chipper (I was 7!!). Love to hear "Whatever Happened to Love" again!
I've bought it for 6 euros ( a re-release from 1997 rom the british steel label that also re-released mythra and handsome beastst to give some examples )
This was the best song on the LP by far. I bought it when it came out and really couldn't get into it. The production was also kind of canned sounding.
@sirdarklust I've still got the original 2 LP's and i don't rate this song that much. Iron Maiden's, Angel Witch's, Sledgehammer's and Praying Mantis's songs were all better than this one. Plus many Hard Rock bands of that era had equally stupid names that didn't help progress their musical careers at all in the end.
It's a great song but surely the real classic from MFM was Angel Witch - Baphomet!

Sorry for the production.EMI were tight B*astards and wouldn't pay for us to go down to a Decent Studio so they used our demos!!!

Ethel The Frog left a great record.
It's a great pity that they lived short.
