While the quality of the games visuals, audio, et cetera is considerably better than games that came out 10 years ago, they're just not nearly as fun. It's not a matter of Nostalgia - games ARE becoming easier, they're intentionally being dumbed down for 'casual' gamers. (The guy who might pick a game up once and never play it again)

In my opinion, it was also one of the best games in my life!

Back then, they just knew how to make games... somehow they just knew...

Anyways, Forsaken was a great shooter, with advanced graphics (at that time, and still, even today looks awesome!), playing a little bit like Descent...

I have it on my PC, with my 2Mb 3Dfx Voodoo1-card.

As long as I have my computer, I can "travel in time" and play all the games

that made my day! =)

Loved this game! Bosses and Weapons were amazing. The standard enemys had the best deathscream ever. T2 was disappointing. Cool, but way inferior. Controls were awesome for a 1st Person shooter on a console.

I played this game and turok 2 when i was younger, these fuckin kicked ass!

I played turok again recently and loved it :D But when I tried playing turok 2 after playing turok 1 recently, I just couldn't play it...

Turok is so fast paced and 'blow the shit out of evrything', whereas turok 2 plays a lot slower...

this game along with other classics such as Ocarina of Time, Mischief Makers and Goldeneye were pure brilliance XD

could never beat turok without cheats haha, the levels were just so long and i would end up lost and unable to find some random key.

used to use the level cheat to warp to the later levels with the big dinosaurs and shoot the shit out of the dinos with the alien weapons :D

This was a great game. Loved the weapons and the dinosaurs, and the levels were fun to explore.

My only complaints: some of the levels were too long/confusing, I don't think I ever beat the game without cheats because of that. Jumping was also difficult, it was sometimes really tricky to jump to where you wanted to go. And the draw distance was horrendous, you could only see like 50 feet away (which contributed to making navigation difficult).

But still, great game...

One of the only game I've played where the guys' screams make me laugh... it's funny, and I don't know why - like the death animation where they roll around on the ground.

Still the best Turok game out of them all, and a great game to this day (the music and everything else about it).

I'm happy I actually beat it without any cheats. I just didn't manage to get all the Cronocepter (sp) pieces.
