problem is, we have no idea how re-animated living tissue will react to various metals at extremely high velocities, it might be ineffectual. a 30mm artillery round might do nothing, while a .22 long rifle could have maximum damage potential. I have put much study into this, If i was in charge i would heavily tax every human being four thousand percent and use the money to fund a giant research facility where we could conduct the proper tests.....just in case zombies happened.

I disagree, the tissue will not take on a different molecular structure, only the inards would be effected. According to the "Zombie Survival Guide" the internal tissue and blood cougulate into a spongy like material, creating an fully body sensory organ. So other then a slight spongy red glob, all bone, muscle and skin tissue will react as expected to weapons. Even more so with the onset of decomposition.
