God used Mike in such a powerful way in my life- I hate to think where I would be had God not sent a fellow messy, real, screw up into my life. I know Mike is with Jesus but selfishly, I wish he was still with us- the church needs more people like him!
Mike was my 2nd cousin, I miss him dearly. Even though it's been 5 years since he died, I still get deeply sad when I think of how he was just snatched from us so very suddenly. But, if you think about it, aside from being raptured, that's how Mike wanted to go. Like a theif in the night. It still hurts.
I saw Mike at Green belt again and again. He was an inspiration and a true reflection of God. I have since left the church, but I always remember the wisdom that he shared and I will never forget what he did for me and my friends at that time.
I must have first heard Mike speak in my early teens at Greenbelt, I only wish I had had the opportunity to hear much more, he always challenged, and not in a way that just left you feeling a little uncomfortable but in a way that made you think I need to do something about this, a great man of God!
Thanks for this, and these new challenges to take on board.
I've got good news for you . If you had gone to greenbelt 07 then you might have seen his son talk (Mark) and he's just as good in my opinion , different but as good. God bless you Mike , but thanks for leaving us with Mark to carry the baton on where you left it.
I`ve read some of Mikes books & loved his attitude to Jesus & the Church, but I`d never seen him or heard him till now. What a great & WONDERFUL man of God. Heaven will be a wilder place with him there now. God bless you Mike.
There's never going to be a Greenbelt that goes by where I won't miss you wonderful cigar-smoking presence. Thanks to whoever put this video together. It's a wonderful tribute

I really wish I had gotten to meet him. He had so much more to say to the church. We are so lucky to have had him. Miss you Mike!
