@leotheloser you could use the z-flex mini cruiser which i think has a very small tail, not sure, or the penny skateboard which has a pretty big tail but the board is smaller than the z-flex
@deafmusique 9inch cruiser? What's that? SmoothStar only has one thruster truck that goes at the front of the deck. Check out the website to see the truck picture etc
@Eman90 . sorry we didn't reply earlier. You can tighten the front truck but then you lack the whole skate surf feeling. The board is specifically designed for surfers and as such, you are always turning in a surfing wave.
@dalton721 Hey mate. You can get the truck from our website, smoothstar com au. We now have 2 types: Thruster I and Thruster III. You can get one or you can get both, different feel but with the Thruster I gives you the tightest turn of any Surfing Skateboard. To see the differences, check out our latest video on our youtube channel, the video is called: "New SmoothStar 32" - Skateboard for Surfers"
Oookay so i already skate (on a normal skateboard) and have for a while, but summers coming up and i want an old school or cruiser board to just get around on...
@Alannbitchh How old and how much do you weigh? If you're a grom and you wanna cruise, we would recommend 36" Cruiser. If you're big, go for the 39" cruiser. good luck.
@lingling0432219507 Smoothstar decks do not flex very much. It is the Thruster turning mechanism that makes the board so good and turn just like surfing. SmoothStar was rated 2 weeks ago by Australia's top Surfing Magazine as the best skateboard that is like surfing.
I'm 6'2'' and 85kg. This is by far the closest to surfing on a skateboard. i've tried a few others like Sector 9 and the carve board but this one really carves awesome. You can do cutties and slide the tail a bit. It kinda corrects your style too, making you surf using your back foot more.
What's a good cruiser for a starter?
