SD is a huge city so the city cant account for just one section of neighboorhood so "7th safest" doesnt mean southeast or national city is safe, the area is a nice place to live geographically so there is little unrest but it is right next to TJ and is the huge for all drug trafficking, plus it is almost even in terms of black, filipino, and chicano so there is gangs for that reason
