Itachi died in his duel with Sasuke (like he intended it to be). The only thing that survive was the jutsu that he himself implanted into Naruto when he came back to the village to ask Naruto how would he stop Sasuke. The jutsu was supposed to activate automatically when Itachi's own mangekyo was activated..which unfortunately did when Itachi was brought back thru the forbidden other world Resurrection technique. Itachi assumed it would be Sasuke activating the jutsu with Itachi's stolen eyes.

No I'm 100 percent sure that tobi is not Obito because when Naruto and Youndaime meet each other, youndaime told Naruto that when the 9 tailed fox attacks the konoha he notice something. He notice that someone was controlling it, a very powerful ninja, then Naruto ask him who's controlling the 9 tailed fox then youndaime said it was one of the Akatsuki member the one with a mask. So how it is possible that obito become strong and control the 9 tailed and fight Youndaime.

If he was to be Obito he would have started the fight with Konan with only one eye. There is a chance he could have a sharrigan implanted since his left sharrigan was never really revealed without his mask so we cant confirm weather he has a scar like Kakashi.

I disagree. Tobirama may have had other talents, but the time-space power would've shown up when he was Edo Tensei'd in Part 1. Orochimaru would've made him. It can't be denied that there is a possibility that Obito might be Tobi.
1- The names include similar letters. (weak assumption I know)
2- As ninjas grow into adults their styles of clothing change but their colors of preference remains. Ex Obito color was black and orange...Tobi is also the same.

@No1l3ft2C you forgot something: minato fought with tobi when kyuubi atacked the village , and he was as tall as minato so the tobi from "that time" was adult and his right eye was crushed and his left was given to kakashi

@No1l3ft2C Tobi has 2 sharrigans before one was destroyed in his fight against Konan using Izanagi (technique that allows you to sacrifice a sharrigan to removes the boundaries between reality and illusion). If he was to be Obito he would have started the fight with Konan with only one eye. There is a chance he could have a sharrigan implanted since his left sharrigan was never really revealed without his mask so we cant confirm weather he has a scar like Kakashi.

Very true, but this is my reasoning to why it could just as easily be Kagami:
Tobirama Senju was his sensei, see that "Tobi" in the first four letters?
As well as, what business would Obito have killing off people like Danzo, simply put:
Kagami was Danzo's teammate at one point, if I'm correct. It would make more sense if it were Kagami killing off such people. And true, your color thing remains unbeaten, good job finding that one, kudos to you.

I disagree. Tobirama may have had other talents, but the time-space power would've shown up when he was Edo Tensei'd in Part 1. Orochimaru would've made him. It also can't be him, Hiruzen sealed him in the Shinigami's tummy. And the 2nd had no Sharingan, it'd show up during Edo Tensei if he had it and added it like Kakashi had. Plus he wouldn't be able to withstand battle as long as "Tobi" has like Itachi said to Kakashi in pt 1. He didn't have the body of a true Uchiha.

3-While all sharingans may reach mangekyo stage, each one develops differently with an affinity towards whatever the user's style chakra is. Sasuke/Itachi's mangekyo does not grant him teleportation or time/space manipulation.But Kakashi's eyes does give him a small amount of manipulation ex: ripping Deidra's arm off and warping a speeding projectile and Tobi has proven that his sharingan can also manipulate time and space. These two eyes seem to be connected thus the Obito/Tobi theory.

Tobi could be Madara Uchia manifesting himself within Obitos body. Kabato even mentions to tobi when he first resserurects the Akuskti he says this "Interesting Vessel Madara Uchia. Episode 225 or something like that? not sure... but this confirms its madara manifesting himself in another person body. Personally i believe the body is his brothers or the Sage of the Six Paths...

@JJMCPS Tobi looks too much like a grown man to be Obito. Obito died as a kid, so it's not possible. Personally I think Tobi isnt even an uchiha from the way his eyes work... But everyone still says that he's Madara, even though he himself didn't quite justify them, so who knows for sure. There is one picture in the manga that shows half his face, and he looks like an old man so yeah... I dunno 100%, but I highly doubt your theory. Go read the manga lol XD The anime is sooooo behind.

@animerox316 because tobi wore a mask revealing his right eye (which indicated the possibility of him not having a left eye), + he's Uchiha + Similar hair
of course the theory is full of holes. Tobi was seen with a left eye sharingan when his mask was partially destroyed in his fight with Konan. Not to mention the fact that it seemed tobi had no emotional reaction to seeing Kakashi for the first time, or the fact that when Madara fought the first Hokage he was an adult.
