Really! Do you know the history of our corps? MMDA today is just MMDA and has no connection w/ the new 27th lancers. Our 2nd generation corps are registered under Jose Viray Jr. Foundation, beloved founder and owner of the 27th Lancers..

Original members & marchers who came in won championships from 1979 thru 1993 were the real members of the "Hall of Fame". We were the guys who sacrificed rehearsing all week long showed their undoubtful talent/excellence in PI drum corps history. Members who came after 1993 were just regular members of the 27th Lancers who we recruited & trained to continue our tradition of excellence. After 1998 w/ the retirement of the most decorated bandmaster Lut Garrido, 27th Lancers folded.

These guys talking shit about the new 27th Lancers knew nothing about the history of our corps. It was the 27th Lancers who dominated PI drum corps in the 80's thru 90's. Boy Scout awarded the "Hall of Fame" in 1993. The 27th Lancers was the official band of former RES South Sector under owner/founder Jose Viray Jr. Upon his death Bayani took over his position & the name RES later change to MMDA. 27th Lancers ceased using MMDA when Lut Garrido retired. re-grouped & formed the new 27th Lancers.

Your stupidity is once again on display. I am a member of the Blue Devils Parent Booster club and not "Waterboy" as you described. I contribute and spend my own money to help the organization of the 12th time DCI World Champions. I paid my son's tuition fee & other expenses to march w/ BD about $1.800.00 a year. rvjackjack1: Ang Boys of Caridad eh mainstay na ng Avalanche club ng Tangos, Navotas, kaya every year eh mapapakinggan mo silang tumogtog doon tuwing bisperas ng fiesta ng San Roque. And i'll tell you na sampung gulong ang caridad sa current 27th lancers. Magaling si Sir Abe dahil matagal na siyang humawak ng mga drum & bugle corps pero comparing the sound of the 2 corps eh talagang magaling ang 27th lancer.

Rvjackjack1 and getonthemusic both have clogged ears. They can't even identify great quality sound from less quality to an out of tune notes played by caridad in loreto. Meaning lack of knowledge and understanding how good music are being interpreted and played by a good solid modern corps demonstrating high quality sound from horns to drums. MMDA accepted the truth and declared truce w/ Pareng Lut and the rest of our young corps. Kulang lang sa Ligo para mawala ang inyong inggit.

MMDA has no connection w/ the new 27th lancers. MMDA was originally RES South Sector headed by the late founder & owner of the 27th Lancers Eng. Jose Viray Jr. then changed to MMDA under the new administration. W/ the retirement of Lut Garrido from MMDA, the new 27th lancers was reorganized and formed once again under Jose Viray Jr. Foundation. 90% of current MMDA members came from other drum corps who did not march w/ the 27th Lancers that dominated PI drum corps in the 80's and 90's.

After the concert MMDA finally had a heart to heart talk with Pareng Lut & accepted the fact that they surrendered to the old warrior. Our name under our beloved late founder Eng. Jose Viray Jr. "The 27th Lancers" will be continued by our modern corps "The New 27th Lancers". This final face off with MMDA before the optional retirement of the remaining members of the 27th Lancers will now be remembered and proved that there's only one great Bandmaster of all times "Lut Garrido".
