I adore the 80s series. They're not afraid to have deaths and sad endings. The 2003 series is amazing but it is much more happy and doesn't do this series as much justice.

This is a kids show? Where are the happy endings? Robots exploding left and right but it doesn't have much of an impact. I watched the 2003 remake of this first, and the Astro in that never hurt a fly. But this Astro is just as sweet and caring, but how many robots has he killed already? Like 10, and those where just the accidents. In the new one it's the classic "Let the bad guy/robot live, so he learns a lesson.? I love both series to death. I just wasn't expecting this one to be so dark!

Another Romeo and Juliet knockoff. Everyone with a pulse does this at least once. Come on guys the book wasn't THAT good. It just took advantage of the fact that most plays up until that point usually ended happily ever after.
