@MusicFlaMeS ABSOLUTELY and just so u know as of July 2011 the android market is growing more then twice as fast as the apple app store or any app store for that matter, there is also the most downloads of any appstore and get this >>> in the apple app store only 28% of apps are free and in android market 58% are free and in light of the fact that it is growing at more then twice as fast as apple it means, that people are going to see be able to get good quality apps for almost nothing or free.

@TheAndroidNerd Im sorry but I own an Android phone and an iPod touch and even if your numbers are true the App Store destroys android market. Just the overall quantity and quality of apps is soo much better. SO many android apps are 100% useless and there are far less. They have the basics at least. The way I see it is iPhone and Android do the same thing but the iPhone has a better app store and overall ecosystem that is supported so well with macs and iPads.

No wrong, the iphone only has an outdated 1ghz processor, but because of apple magic IOS, its still faster than almost all android phones.

@MOTACJ Hey! Actually next month there will be a few super Android coming up! Like the HTC Rezound, featuring 1.5ghz dual core processor and even comes in with beats headset! Then there's also the Droid RAZR which is super thin, and lastly Galaxy Nexus with Ice Cream Sandwich! But it's really really up to what you like best! The design of it, the hardware of it! But remember, Android means bigger screen, faster browsing, higher clock! But the apps are still much lesser compared to the App store!

@MusicFlaMeS Wow! Thanks for the feedback! I've heard of the Rezound as well as the Edge coming out next year. Tech sure is exciting! Ice Cream Sandwich and the larger screen are pretty much my only reasons for choosing the Nexus over the Rezound. (I'm not sure how true it is, but I've heard that the andriod market may be able to surpass the App store by Christmas next year. If that's the case, It'll be within my 2 year contract! Thank you for all your help, friend. I really appreciate it!

@MusicFlaMeS Yeah, I most definitely want to do all of those things. I already have some psx, n64, gba, snes, and nes roms which I would like to try. Unfortunately, when I buy an Icontrolpad for the Galaxy Nexus, I going to have to make my own adjustments to get it to fit. Rooting and overclocking are where my hands get a little shaky though since I haven't done them before. Hopefully, good ol' youtube can guide me in those endeavors. --And if I kill it, I'll just do something manly like cry. Ha

Yeah except the app-making process from designing it to publishing it is excruciatingly more difficult with android due to how many different kinds of software and handsets there are. I agree it has more potential but they are going to have to find a way to unify them.

The only people who seem to be focusing on competing are microsoft with the windows 7 phone. Google is focusing on making the most advanced developer friendly open ended o/s on the market. Windows is focusing on making the most simple and quick o/s. I'm hoping they both keep stepping it up, its about time technology moved up.
