Umm I dunno if you know this but the murkrow is just mimicing one of the rocket leaders, the door is voice activated and the murkrow copies it's masters voice, into the door which makes it open.

They aren't the same. Dive actually allows you to go under water. Whirl Pool is pretty much like Waterfall or Rock Climb.
