  • WOW!!! Amazing artistry! TREMENDO! : )

  • Fire!

  • dude you go above talent. mad kudos

  • Loved it....... Brilliant work....

Isn't wise to wear a face mask when you are using Urethanes?

  • For those who want to know who that model is, her name is Rebecca Witchard, an Austrailian model. She's done a couple shoots for SHOW magazine.

  • eii homs...iio se qe lo sabes pro etre los grandes eres el mas grande men...:)

  • Can i ask, how the fuck did you do that? youre amazing, wish i could paint like u! :)

  • Dam good work man !!!!

  • Hi Steve, could you help a newbie out??

Cant understand how you manage to get so dark colors if you want.. I'm painting with standox water based colors and fooled around with the reducer (water) from 15%-30% and have problems to get dark/thick layers when i airbrush.. for example, black + reducer (water), i've tried from 30% down to 0% and still cant get the thick dark color if i want to. I think my problem lays in the colors + air flow thru my airbrush why my jobs wont develope..

    Any tips? P's

  • Woooow! Perfect job congratulation Steve.

  • Wooooow!!! Perfect woman face, very good job!

    Congrat...

  • Truly incredible!!!! it does not get any better than this Steve!!!!!

  • i was going to take this up as a hobbie .... i now know i have failed before begining ... fucking epic

  • WOW WOW WOW 10000000/10

  • Why don't you use a mask?

  • Amazing work man. How long have ya been airbrushing? I just started and doing portrait work like that is what I really want to get into. I'm trying to dial in my airbrush at the moment. It is spiderwebbing/sputtering like crazy, not sure if its me, paint or brush itself. I'm using Creaatex reduced 50/50 with water.

  • damn i wish airbrushing like you man!

  • Steve, you are an airbrush god! Are you ever going to do a DVD for us?

  • Steve, I've noticed sometimes you prepare the canvas in a light shade that your going to be working with, I presume this is a good place to start, then work the main features in e'g eyes nose mouth, then work the darker areas up. Do you use the same formula for most of your portraits?

Whatever you do, it sure as hell works!! Keep it up and lets have a DVD soon!

  • Hi Steve.hi from Australia-you're amazing!,what sort of back ground training have you had or are you self taught?how long have you been at it?

    all the best.

  • @MrMaskita The frightening thing is he's self taught as far as I know! He does things his own way compared to what you might be 'taught' in a classroom I think. But its the end result that counts which is stunning and inspiring. I'm hoping for a tutorial DVD soon!

  • Awesome work! You make it look so easy, but I know you have many hours behind your work. You inspire me with your skills. Keep up the good work. Do you have any more recent videos of your work?

  • Amazing work!!! I'm just starting out now and in the "Can't control my trigger so I watch other people paint on youtube phase" lol. How long would you say that piece took you to make? Also do you use waterbased aswell on different paintings or stictly urethanes.

  • you are rediculous.......stay up brother

  • Your skills are sick bro!! Do you mind me asking what type of medium are you painting on?

  • @bglover65 Not at all- these are automotive paints called Alsa Corp paint- which are urethanes.

  • Thank you all- very nice compliments- well appreciated.

The airbrush I used was a Peak C3. The Iwata HP-C and Richpen Apollo's are also similar- have fun!

  • Very very good

    Eres mi ídolo

  • Your works are of a hallucinatory beauty

  • Most excellent !!!!!

  • Great work again steve. Do you cap your colours or just lay down solid colour at different intensity. Getting my head around portatraits at the moment and gaining alot of inspiration watching you work.

  • This is a solid base- it does resemble candy but this solid base had some transparency to it- which smoothes out tones.

  • how price of you're picture paint ??? did you make a private portrait ??

  • Yes, see stevenunez (dot) com

  • Ok, sounds fairly similar to AA Autoborne which is a semi transparent. I'll keep practicing!!

  • Hey Steve, is it a candy or a opaque color you use here?

    Good work!!

  • this was solid base no candies on this one...
