  • Hi Jen, thanks for the video. I'm 25 and diabetic. I have had many seizures over the past few years but only last year the doctor diagnosed me epileptic since there were no other reasons for a particular seizure. I just got the results of my EEG today and its confirmed I have photosensitive epilepsy, with spikes shown in the graph. I've watched your later videos. I hope you're feeling better now

  • Olive oil gets the glue out very well. I learned that when I got my hair caught in a fly trap.

  • ur kidding me. i think i got my video eeg in that same room about a year ago. And im going back soon too. lol :)

  • Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm getting my first eeg Wednesday.

  • I'm 16 and have had 14 seizures grand mal - I go in for my EEG tomorrow thank you so much for this video !

  • Thanks for the video! On December 8 I am getting an EEG but it's only for an hour:( I'm worried they won't catch anything. My neurologist doesn't seem very experienced so maybe I'll talk to an epileptologist. Anywho, thanks for the video. Any advice is always appreciated.

  • hi jenny i was epileptic too -i'm well now but i'm with who is progressing suffering -i understand what you must pass every day and the difficult to live out near at pearson that don't know nothing about this problem -i had very much difficult for this motiv

  • You did such a great job with this! My son had 7 Veeg's too!

  • Hey jenn im getting an eeg tomorrow for my epilepsy! :D woo hoo!

  • No way!! 3 days?!! That's so..... crazy. Mine was only for eight hours. I can't believe that you had to sit there for that long. Sorry :(

  • hi Jenn, I also dislike the effect the glue leaves in our hair. Even after washing my hair bits would still be sticking around & I'd be pulling them off. Accetone was the best 4 me on my forehead & other awkward places. Mind u I'm now 41 & started having EEG'S at the age of 5. Take care & I enjoy watching all yr post's.

  • why did they keep trying so many times instead of just saying your test was negative? Is it because you had seizures at other times away from the machine? (I'm going for my first EEG of any kind.)

  • Thank you so much for making this video. I'm going into the hospital for a video eeg on dec 20th and they said I might be there 5-10 days, I guess it depends if I have any seizures or not. But yeah thanks for giving some tips about stuff to do and what its like.

  • of course! hope she is doing well!

  • Great vid! Smh...my EEG's are always normal, but my brain sure isn't!!! I just keep on fighting thru it all!!!!!!!! Thanx for the vids sweetie!! xoxox

  • yeah mine always come back normal too, they finally found a spike after like 10 tires and like 9 months of trying

  • I like your t shirt an I 25 but are doing ok cause tell other that not done this it is well done to no. cause I have done this 7 time.

    keep it going thanks

  • thanks

  • man, i hate those i've only had a few in the past about one day each, but my last one was a video eeg and was exactly a week, lol.

  • yeah they can get pretty dreadfull, I've had like 10 done like 3 of the 40 minute in-office ones one at home for 7 days and like 6 in the hospital from 3-6 days I believe. The worst part is how my forehead breaks out afterword from the glue on my forehead for a week clogging my pores

  • Good job Jenna!
