  • For some reason it reminds me of what Walt Disney said to Ub Iwerks to come down to Hollywood from Kansas City "I wouldn't stay there if you gave me the place." Of course that being said it probably is a nice place to live.

  • Was that the same gorilla suit used in Spongebob?

  • @BronzeTurd no, not really. The suit in SpongeBob had a rougher looking face and hands, while the suit used here looks a bit smoother in texture.

  • @BronzeTurd And the one used in spongebob didn't have that little plume of hair the top of it's head. Much like the suit in this movie

  • 10 stars. OUT OF WHAT!

  • @conner10ify out of 10

  • @conner10ify 10 stars out of 5

  • Hey Pilgrims, my name is John Wayne, Happy Thanksgiving Pilgrims!

  • King Kong Fu was started in 1975-6 but quickly ran out of cash and was shelved. It was finally completed in 1988 and premiered at the Crest theater in Wichita. I was living there at the time and the premiere got a lot of local media attention.

I remember watching it with friends who were laughing so hard, not at the gags (which were lame), but it because it was such a great time capsule of 1970's Wichita. I'm really surprised it made it to DVD since it was so bad!!

  • wow this movie looks SO bad I might actually watch it...not. LOL

  • Thumbs up if you actually went on IMDB to see James comment.

  • Amazing review nerd..Pilgrim

  • 1:00 Lary the cable guy ROCKS

  • Omg!! 10 stars out of 5 this movie am like better god than

  • The opening music always makes me think of Pee Wee's Big Adventure

  • this movie is brought to you by: HURR DURRP

  • 1:35 Omg, cant i even buy a banana without people screaming at me. That is harrassment and i ll sue for compensation.

  • Vichitaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

  • Ed Wood+King Kong=King Kung Fu.

  • Yeah, i live in Wichita... and that is what they always fucking do: Advertise. If there is a scene that talks about Wichita in a new movie, it is gonna be on the news. The most recent one was the new movie "Knite and Day". And everyone was like "Holy Shit!".

  • Just one more thing and I'll shut up. This movie was finally released as a fund raiser.2 of the stars in this film died from Luekimia.(I know I can't spell). The movie was premiered at the Crest theatre in Wichita to honor them and help with research funding. The 2 stars were "Officer Pilgrim" and "King Kung Fu".I attended the premier.

  • The police chief was played by Wichita celebrity,Tom Leahy. Wichita lost him when he passed away last week.He was a great local entertainer. R.I.P.,Tom.

  • I love the idea of a movie filmed in my home town, but this is so rediculous,it's actually something to be proud of.It was made in the early '70s and all the locations are familiar to me. To bad the Holiday Inn building is now a deteriorated,un-named , piece of junk.Wichita has changed a lot since then.

  • This is the class clown of movies. Fails at nearly everything, but fun to watch

  • this is awesome

  • vigilantes......................... pilgrim

  • 2:37 - 2:49

    Brilliant!

  • @darkram13 0:00 - 5:10

    Brilliant!

  • This is King Kong by Ed Wood

  • the music at the very begining of this video just makes me have to say this (even though i cant spell the word worth a crap): TAQUILA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 told u i cant spell it right! :(

  • @supermark64 lol nope you spelled it right!

  • @Rojo12689 cool!

  • I don't know if you've got a name for that kind of movies, but in France we call it "nanar". Actually I'm kinda fan of that type of sympathetic bad movies. Like Hitman The Cobra. And plus, we have the french versions with the apocalyptic translations...that creates some pieces of art.

  • @SebLeCaribou The only English term I can think of might be "B-movie", but that tends to refer to bad Sci-Fi movies from the 1950s. That isn't to say that English speakers don't appreciate bad movies from all eras.

@000apina000 If you see this, thanks for answering my question.

  • what's the name of the song from the beginning

  • @mrpul4n Do you mean "Tequila"?

On another topic, is there anyone who can answer my question from two weeks ago?

  • @holycow818181 It's "Big Trouble in Little China". Here's the scene shown in this vid: /watch?v=4a3R0YuUjQg

  • 10, well deserved, stars!

  • wiiichitaaaa~~

  • Quick question: In the first second of this video, one of the movies on the "film strip" has a guy with a huge, scary face. What movie is that from?

(I'm not going to copy and paste it, but I do happen to think that the joke about Wichita being "surrounded" is genuinely hilarious)

  • Also, a good movie to watch while high and/or drunk.

  • This looks like some F'd up shit

    .

So, why aren't you putting these up on your Cinemassacre channel?

  • look like a joke

  • witchita

  • 1:02 Did you do a larry the cable guy joke sincerely or to compare his 'comedy' to the kind of humor in the movie? Because if its the former, I don't think I can be a subscriber anymore.

  • "As you can see, Wichita is located at the center of this great country of ours, and that means quite simply, we have him surrounded"

Copy and Paste if you think that is the funniest joke ever!

  • review shcolcl

  • "As you can see, Wichita is located at the center of this great country of ours, and that means quite simply, we have him surrounded"

Copy and Paste if you think that is the funniest joke ever!

  • I was cracking up through most of this video. It's just too ridiculous. The Wichita song is priceless.

  • lol @ it being an advertisment for wichita

  • haha "Wichitaaaaaaaaaaa" hahaha your the funnyest guy iv ever heared

  • The Holiday Inn is famous sort of, but only because a sniper used it to shoot several people across the street at (I kid you not) John F. Kennedy Plaza. I think that happened in the 70's too.

  • OMG I am in this film! I was all of 17 and played Dr. Freeb. A 17 year old doctor...that gives you a clue right there!

  • so low is reach his aslo high ! wtf 188,000 vies...

  • i seen that film its funny as hell

  • it does have a wikipedia page.

  • @dakiid245

    Me too O_O WIERD

  • @dakiid245 I love that one.

  • @dakiid245 I seriously think that was a refference to this movie to this day

  • @dakiid245 actully thats the same costume

  • i really want to watch this movie, i was laughing the whole time. like you said, its so bad, its good.

  • at 4:50 her ass is showing i think

  • no it's her pants.

  • Lolz :D its trousers

  • "crapstick" xD

  • when was this made? the "Jumping" parts are really bad. kinda looks like a guy has a hook on his back and is being lifted by a helicopter. I can understand if it was made in '80's of 90's even, but if this took place after the year 2000, i don't wanna watch.

  • @movingmovies1 This movie was filmed in the early '70s, but wasn't released until the mid '80s. The helecopter scenes and the jumping scenes were stop motion photography, similar to the King Kong movie from the '30s.Thats why it is so jerky.

  • 2000th comment

  • Lol, I seriously want to watch this movie now ... :D

  • Be chilling at the holiday INn

  • this movie is great

  • And I didn't know you were a fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000 too. I think it's really hard to hate that show.

  • I got this on my que on Netflix. I can't wait to watch this with my friend.

  • I am from Wichita, KS, where this was made. Really you kinda got to see the structure of Wichita, KS and the landmarks they visited. Such as in the ball park (Lawrence Dumont Stadium), where he hit a homerun across the Arkansas (Ark-Can-Suhs) River, and over Century 2...That is hella far! And that Holiday Inn is famous. Some sniper dude shot and killed people from atop of the building. Wichita is pretty cool, and it's also known as Doo-Dah. :) Don't visit, it's kinda crappy!

  • 10 stars!???

  • its on netflix is was very funny

  • i went on amazon uk and this seems to be only availible in region 1 us import is there a region 2 version

  • The producer said on imdb the film was sold to Japan, Taiwan and Poland. I've never been so ashamed of my nationality before (I'm Polish)
