  • don't you hate when the top comments are the same?

  • hey, blues addicts...

  • It itsn blues

  • don't you hate when the top coments are the same?

  • the begining of the lick that you did sounds exactely like the intro of Blues de Luxe by Joe Bonamassa isn't it?

  • Blues is so awesome! Rock and Metal fan here...

  • i hate it when the top comments are the same

  • nice lesson haywyre sounds like a progression that Bb note is so sweet in there.

  • Great! I check a lot of sites to see what I can pick up and this one is the best. thanks for doing this.

  • nice job! I like the tab youve added

  • always good lessons broken down and made easy to understand thanks . ps how about a lesson on sure got cold after the rain fell zz top version

  • awesome lick man, thanks a million, sounds great wtih other licks too, blues fans he is the man

  • bonamassa blues de luxe :P

  • every time i try the bends my fingers keep hitting other strings and muting the one im bending. could it be that my neck is not wide enough?

  • Dont like this guitar for blues

  • kabooooeeeeeeem!!!!!!!!!

  • hey man,how do you produce that very bluesy sound?

  • what level of guitar playing is this for would you say ?

  • @josheybee12 , I would say upper-intermediate. The notes aren't that hard...it's the dynamics that getcha.

  • @haywyre62 is there such a thing as hard notes? Isn't it all about the dynamcs of the playing that make it beinner, intermediate or advanced?

    Jut sayin.

  • great blues lesson friend!

    but 2:56

A#... and the tonic is A... why??

  • Great guy to learn from

  • really enjoyed this

    theory? questoin for you

on that "Bb flat note @ the 3"09 mark

    is it dissonant

    or just the "feel"

    thanks

    why

  • thanks for lesson man ive been trying to do licks like these for a while and this really helped

  • Thanks for the lesson !

  • thanks from transylvania

  • wow man that was so cool your rocks thanks for the lessons

  • отлично! очень удобно с табулатурой вместе.

  • Thank you!!!

  • the very beginning sounds like the end of the heartbreaker solo

  • Great lesson! You have set a standard that all guitar lessons should follow...right to the point...good camera work...tabs and top notch artuculate commentary.

I am playing the 'Intro' on an acoustic but it is fine as the bulk of the notes are in the middle of the neck. The only change I made was at 4:20 or so. After the previous bend on the 8th fret I added an extra note in the scale before doing the next bend on the 7th. It helps the flow on an acoustic.

    You've set high standards!

  • Thanks for the lesson,,,,really helped a bunch....keep...and ya, I can see now, how Joe Bonamassa does it...way cool

  • well played sir... well played

  • really nice. sounds a little like bb king

  • omg you are the blues master im just get in to blues from some weeks ago and now i love to play it

my inglish is not so god

  • at 3:23 it looks to me like you are bending the 3rd string but you say its the 4th..???? Maybe I,m wrong but it sure looks like youre bending the 3rd not 4th......

  • Your are correct. Bend the 3rd, not the 4th.

  • OK thanks!

  • Hey, blues fans! ;)

  • Great lick. Joe Bonamassa plays the very beginning in "c" in "blues deluxe." Awesome.

  • pretty good!!! 5/5 very easy to learn

  • thanks this is just the thing I need for my music assingnment, don't worry I'll give full credit to you!! thanks alot

  • Easiest lessons to learn and follow along with that I have found on youtube so far. The tab helps out more than I can say.

  • thanks man your awesome ive been playing for a wail now and im into blues and have sien all your video's..

    just wonna say thanks,..

  • thx. I just started getting into blues cause u can turn em into awesome, slow, solos. just add some distortion, and some bends/whammy at different spots, and get a good drum beat going, and there u go, a perfect, slow, rock solo

  • hey blues fans

  • очень хроршо

  • very good lesson, the tab over laid

this is what i looking for!

    5 stars for you

  • very cool thanks

I'm interested in learning blues intros and trun arounds

  • nice! well done!

  • couldn't you create it in notes instead of tabs?

  • you are awesome!!! nice lesson, easy to understand but great sound

  • GOOD LESSON,PAL,,, I LIKE UR SOUND

  • Nice lesson! Thanks for posting:)

  • okay i understood nothing xD sorry im from germany

  • how come u use the 6th fret g string so often if you play in the key of A?

  • The 6th fret G string is the major 3rd of the scale. Going from the minor third (5th fret, G) to to the major third is very common in the blues.

  • nice lesson you are as good a teacher as justin sandercoe, nice slow and easy to follow.

    good work man.

  • watch awesome tibetan guitarist (from switzerland?!), he will blow you away! just look for "purtag" (his name)

  • great vid thanks a lot man I learn really wonderful blues lines, thanks for sharing

I´ll be watching all new vids you post

  • i didn't like that!! sorry!!!you made better liks in other videos

  • your voice reminds me of bill murray

  • I'm not a video expert; I'm sure there's an easier way to do it, but I use this method:

    1. Create tab in Power Tab (or similar tab software).

    2. Print to a PDF file (with a PDF print driver).

    3. Import PDF into Photoshop. Make a negative. Delete the black background to make it transparent. Add a drop shadow. Save as a PNG file.

    4. Import the PNG files into Adobe Premiere and layer them over the video.

Now that I revealed my secret, I expect more vids with on-screen tab.

  • thanks for going out of your way to teach us. what song is this from? I know I have it around somewhere. Is it BB king? or Clapton? It has been so long since I have heard it.

  • This is a combination of things I've heard over the years. I guess I was inspired by Joe Bonamassa's version of "Blues Deluxe"

  • is that a line 6 pedal? like that one that u make a bunch of sound out of?

  • Yes. It's a POD 2.0

  • LUCKY!! lol hey ur no pro then... my respect was in ur playing and ur ability to use pedals and stuff to make sounds... but u just totally diss me when u conformed that was a line 6 pod lol. just punch in some numbers in the manual and bam ur done... :(

BUT UR PLAYING AND LESSON IS STILL AWESOME!!!

i like the little, i mean reasonable size tab thing... really nice... how u make it like that? and transparent too. wat program u use?

  • bta ur awesome i wish i could play like u dude

    ( i know that sounded gay lol:P)

  • not at all really... i wish i could play like u dude. i dont see anything o.O

  • Man not only are your vids great but ur tone fuck i wish i could make my guitar sound like that

  • your tone is freaking amazing..

  • Awesome lesson, but what makes this lick in A?

  • You play the first blues shape from the 5th fret, or A note

  • thank you for taking the time to show us this,it helps to understand

  • 10 out of 10

  • Cool beans man. easy to learn fun, fun to play, and has a gigantic wow factor. My kinda lick.

  • *****!

  • thatsa joe bonamassa song

  • That tab next to it was dead helpfull
