What type of compression does it use? It must be heavely compressed in order to squeeze a couple of hours of 1080 video onto an SD card, even a 32GB card.
@OneEyedProd i've got this camera. a couple of hours on 32 GB card will only be possible if you use the worst quality and that looks pretty bad. I've got two 16GB and can 55min of 1080 24p video on one.
@simon1234simon im thinking of getting this camera for filming skateboarding, is it easy to transfer the footage from the camera onto computer, i have an apple mac laptop but it dosnt have an sd card port are the files to big to put through the usb? and i have a Dell desktop with an sd card port but im not sure it will work on it? can you please give me some advise ? hmb
you can buy a external SD card reader, and connect it to usb, it´ll be a bit slower to process but it will work just fine
