the tires arent your problem buddy.. its your driving style that was the result of your accident... you could be driving on the crappiest tyres... and still avoid an accident like this... ever heard of lift off over steer????? well thats what happened to you. you went into the corner with way too much revs and speed... you approached the corner with a good turn of the steering wheel then you lifted off the throttle the whole car snapped around on you and threw you into the wall.
Not sure on the relevance of the garage fitting X, Y or Z tyres to your car, its the drivers responseability to check the tyres are suitable for the job, as you already noted they were cheap rubbish you should have maybe got some decent rubber before going on track, next time the back end goes like that mate, FULL THROTTLE and steer into it, save you a few quid in repairs :)
