How interesting that Funke was an illustrator and Fraser her muse. As an artist I can easily see why she would be inspired by him. Brendan is so incredibly versatile & his films so richly diverse. After hearing Eliza reading from the ending of the book on the dvd l also look forward to hearing the audio book.

Not sure how the closing song relates to the story, but it is wonderful message for the young audience & I really enjoyed Eliza's singing. I also love that her middle name is Hope.  ( :

Well at the end of the movie [SPOILER] Dustfinger is taken back to Inkheart. [SPOILER] So, maybe there might not be a sequal. I would love a sequal, but the movie ruined it by doing that. [SPOILER] Dustfinger was supposed to go back to Inkheart with Orpheaus' help [SPOILER] Yeah, there it goes, but I hope the directors take compassion of us Inkheart fans and make a sequal. :]

I am just curious why the producers of Inkheart did not promote the song "My Declaration" by Eliza Hope Bennett together with the movie. It's a great song, a good actress/singer performing it and great music video - it would've helped promote the movie further and probably would be a radio hit too.

Hi, I heard Warner Bros. did promote the song...it's even included in the media kit they gave us...but perhaps there wasn't enough interest from the radio programmers...you know these US deejays...I did like the song though :)

I think the movie would have been better had it been more by the book. There's few changes & missing "chapters" in the movie that are important parts of the book. Tinkerbell is read out of the book instead of Toto by Meggie. Brendan and Eliza are wonderful together....just as I imagined their characters to be from the book.
