  • I am not sure about Hadid at all. I am always worried when so much is used of words and not enough re actually living or working IN the proposed structure /design. Do these structures serve and fulfill human needs and intelligent desire?

  • Zaha Hadid is the best archeticture in Deconstractionism.

  • coooool sound :-)

  • Zaha Hadid is rich, respected and at the forefront of global architecture. Love her or hate her, if people buy it, her work has value. welcome to business, welcome to architecture

  • Thanks for having us. However, following your logic, do you truly believe something has "value" simply because it sells? Child pornography, for example?

  • Zaha Hadid is IRAQI before she got her British citizenship. In your description, it would have been correct to refere to her as Iraqi-British. PLEASE make the correction.

  • I had to watch this bullshit for homework -.-

  • okay.... the last like 10% of the video was... erm relevant and the front 90 was 'crap'??

  • ...this is an ideal house not your ideal house or their ideal house,so this is just an ideal house that has come from Zahas' mind and belief.

this is the way that art comes and materialize from our thoughts to the real world...

  • The perfect flat is square...only 90° angles...Zaha disqualified. Room high is 3.50m minimum. That way people can alter the romms in years to come.

  • Zaha disqualified?? haha, according to yor old bauhaus rules yes, according to your bored functionalism too, remember than Architecture is an art, much more than a shoe's box or two tween towers hehehe

  • Zaha disqualified with the Spittelau haus in Vienna. They could not sell the flats because they are *#-+a*##...A room with a 15° corner...please. A building that has funktion should be built to fullfill the funktion. Other than that it can be art but no good architecture. If you like to live in something 2m high...fine with me. Bauhaus has nothing to do with it.

  • I think Spittelau houses are shit because the architect walked away from the project when it became apparent they weren't going to be built as designed. Cost savings meaning that they may look 'Hadid' on the outside but the plan was severly butchered to the extent that it was internally a very different building.

  • Not only did she walk away...they tried to sell them for 4k/m²...then they tried to rent them out...last thing known...they tried to rend them to studends...to this day 1 flat is inhabited.

  • Grief -- shame about the house design Zaha. Another of the self-centred, over-the-top orange peel things you do so well! The architect as dictator of other people living space. Give us flexibility and the built-in chance to change things to suit ourselves - we are different and most are not at all like you.

  • GUAO! What a nice video! You share with us all the process of been there... the house of Zaha is amazing, sadly we only see a small inserts, and have to use a lot of imagination...

  • As you can see, YouTube chose the image of the midle of the video, in your case, 1:25 min. And that image is not the most interesting one (the same thing happens to me and i´m not happy at all) so next time be careful with that :-)
