  • some good ideas

  • Hathcock used a Remington 700 -.308 with a Redfield 3-9x40 scope.

  • I got a 80 year old .22 marline rifle from my grandfather and might do the same thing to it.

  • dcred123 are you retarted and not read titles or descriptions

  • there is no way the camo can make your rifle less accurate

  • dude that is an amazing gun me and my dad where at a gun show in nc and the guy at this one booth had a remington like the one robert de nero had in the deer hunter we almost got it but our cash supply was empty which kinda sucked because it was a buetiful gun

  • Is th a pellet gun?that's a lot of care for it if it is.

  • I'll pay you to do mine!

  • Interesting video, and quite good work! Although I'd probably chosen to entirely cover it in burlap. Thumbs up!

  • Great video man. Rest in peace to your father. Gorgeous gun.

  • i know this is not airsoft and wasn't made for it but i think its quite universal wether its airsoft paintball real steel etc thanks and excellent job

  • hey alot of german snipers did that in the second world war

  • great video! I really enjoyed it!

  • thats one DAMN GOOD INHARENTENT!!!!!!

  • Very instructive video, thanks. I understand that you don't want an inherited rifle to get scratched. Is that the same kind of Remington Carlos Hathcock used?

  • @MrDoDilicious Hathcock used a Winchester Model 70 I believe with an Unertle scope. However, the model Rem. 700 platform like my rifle is still used to this day as the sniper platform commonly referred to as the m40 series of rifles, though it is usually chambered in .308. The secrete service has used 7mm Rem. Mag. rifles like mine in the past.

  • @palerider2029 Hathcock used a Remington 700 chambered in .308 win/ 7.62x51mm with a Redfield 3-9x scope. Winchester model 70s were also used. They were just store bought during the Vietnam war. After the war in 1977 the 1st M40A1 prototype was made in Quantico by Marine Armorers. In 1979 The M40A1s with Untertle scope were issued to the Fleet Marine Force.

  • Wow. I once had a 7mm mag hunting rifle-but it was stolen before I could even shoot it.

  • @wilb6657 Dang that sucks. As much as the ammo cost I doubt the thieves could even afford to shoot it.

  • @wilb6657 haah i know wat thats like my friends granpa was in ww2 and he had a shit load of guns somewhere hidden and some ppl from the war came 2 his house while he was gone and stole all his guns

  • y do you have airsoft bbms if that is real

  • oh and if anyone could help i have a pellet gun and ive gone rabbit and squirrel hunting but i need a tri pod. Where could i get one? by the way its a pumpmaster 760.

  • Hi, I recommend the Slik Sprint Mini Tripod. It will get all the way down to the ground and will raise high enough to shoot while sitting. Precision Rifles offers this tripod with a rifle cradle attachment as well. If you want a bipod I recommend one of the Harris Bipods.

  • wow what year is that it the stock looks exaclty like mine but kept up alot better ive got an old ass rem700 in .243. i also added some ghille just for shits and gigs

  • wat happened to your father

  • He passed several years ago after a battle with hereditary Liver Disease.

  • @palerider2029 sorry about that

  • @palerider2029 Sorry to hear it. I really respect you keeping the rifle original. But will the burlap cause the barrel to rust if it gets wet?

  • @banjorogers I slide the burlap out of the way and apply oil to it when needed.

  • nice man and gun

  • Hope you get to feeling better.

  • hey man sorry about your dad. but hey god's with you!

  • Thanks for the kind words. I know. There is so much in my life that can't be explained any other way.

  • Do want, nice video man

  • Hey I would like to do that to my rifle. Where did u get that burlap and did it come as that color?

  • I got it from Wal-Mart Hunting Section and it comes already camouflaged. I'm sure if they don't have it you can find it on ebay or some other internet source.

  • you lucky mofo you must not live in california it was a fucking quest just for some brown burlap

  • @wakeNbakePIZZA I know i live in Ontario and yet 3 months later i have yet to find one fucking piece of that so im stuck with volleyball net and jute string

  • @wakeNbakePIZZA hey man thanks for replying i would really appreciate the name of the store by the way i live in Toronto. thx
