Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I can't get a distint hole in the middle like yours and my flower isn't as tight as yours either. You didn't specify what type of yarn you're using, so I'm not sure if that is what my problem is or if I'm just not using the right size hook! Good tutorial. Just not working for me.

what are you calling the first stitch for beginning the petals?? is that where you closed with the slip stitch??
