The GBA animations are so much worse than these. They're too stiff and the floating platforms thing is lame.

They aren't bad, though. It's just hard to stand up to these.

@lurker2626 no way these animations are better the GBA ones cannot stand up to these the GBA ones are too simple these as you can see battles can go out for long periods. second they acually fight and jump around in these unlike the GBA ones where they just stand in one spot but the GBA animations had brighter color though so that sould be good every animation style for fire emblem is good in it`s own way

It's because Solar Sword takes precedence over Lunar Sword; if they both activate, only Solar Sword will work. Besides, who needs Lunar Sword when you have a high critical rate and a Master Sword?

I think it might be possible to get up to 40 hits because the Continue skill apparently stacks with the effect of the double-hit weapons. Never tried it though.

Also, note that the second series of attacks (the 9 hits at the end) were all criticals. Mareeta's second series of attacks, as long as she is using a sword with a decent crit, have an extremely high critical hit rate. With 20 skill and her personal sword it's a 200% base crit rate, minus luck * 5/2.

Mareeta's using a weapon that hits twice in a row, and she doubles Leidrick, so that's a guaranteed 4 hits. Star strikes gives 5 hits, so if it activates each time, you get 20 hits, the last one being unecessary since the boss died.
