  • always a pleasure to watch your vids Dave ,iwas was wondering why you dont FPV ,my eye sight is failing too and i was thinking FPV would help ,whats your opinion ?

  • Nice

  • is he wearing uggs?

  • Hey Dave, do you think there is enough room in the Reaper and Raven for a Go Pro Hero 2?

  • I would reccomend at least a 6I for this plane. I use a DX7. I reccomend the 6I because it is simple, but you still have the ability to program flaps on the rotary knob.

  • The dx5e is great so I wouldn't spend the extra money

  • would you recomen to a begginer to buy a use spektrum 6i remote controler?

  • Did you really choose to use a muzak version of Madonna's "Vogue" as the background music!? lol

  • Is this an antenna in your pants or you're just happy it flies ?

  • Great Video Dave , Could you ask Jeff to get a hair cut so he will look Full S.O.G. Mac Daddy like you . He seem like a good guy now he needs to look the part .

  • Nice flying Jeff and Dave.

The video from the reaper was excellent.

    Thumbs Up ~ Eric

  • How did you attached that camera on the plane, and got it to fly with out falling?

Amazing little machine and great video!

  • Where do you get the music for your videos?

  • @secondgear26 he makes them

  • Hi Dave...just wondering if you are a full-scale pilot as well. If not, have you considered it? Happy New Year.

  • ok, once again....nice video. the bi-planes are just neat. The Reaper Drone seemed to fly real well...even with the camera kinda offset from the center of the model. It was a pleasure to watch.

  • nice

  • I'm glad to see your Reaper flying so well. My brother and I had one and we could never get it to fly properly (we have several years of combined R/C flying experience). Even at higher speeds she wanted to tip stall frequently. After one too many corkscrews to the ground we decided the motor and electrics would be better used in a different airplane. Thanks for sharing your video.

  • I want back and looked at your build video and Projet has definitely changed some things about the wing joiners. Mine has an aluminum tube glued into the fuse and cut flush at the wing root. I assume that this WAS the spar on yours. Now there is another carbon (?) rod that slides inside it and protrudes about 8" into each wing. Im gonna give each wing it's own spar glued in place. As it is, I think the carbon rod has been sliding completely into one wing and folding up on people.

  • How easy are those planes to fly.

  • I was going to get that plane but I decieded to get a helicopter from UJToys.

  • sweet flying, nice vid of both biplanes and Reaper.

  • Happy New Year to you Dave and Jeff and your familys from here in the UK . Watched all your video's and learned many tips and tricks from them. Hope 2012 brings a lot more All the Best Ian

  • Nice flying in what looked like great weather. Have you changed video editing programs, from MEP, any special reason? Keep the videos coming.

    papadewey221

  • @papadewey221 Im still using MEP, however they decided they now want money and royalties for their supposedly free music in the program, so I don't use any of their computer generated music anymore. Thanks for the comments.

  • I love the music in your videos. Reminds me of the music in Transport Tycoon.

  • Happy New Year Dave! Thanks for all of your hard work. I don't comment often, but I really enjoy all of your videos.

    Bill

  • @MrBillTroop73 Thanks Bill. I appreciate that and hope you have a Happy new year also.

  • Why are you wearing uggs?!? Lololol

  • @ChallengerDood Are you kidding? There the most comfortable, durable, and warm boots Ive owned for over 5 years.

  • @NightFlyyer are those uggs???

  • @Berijs Yep, the original Australian ones at $200 and still going strong after 6 years in the cold up here.

  • dave is that thing on your antenna for the wind?

  • @numex106 Yes. It is a video tape streamer. It was common on early RF transmitters with long antennas, but I still use it for a perfect wind direction indicator on the short antennas.

  • Haha when you said "this is the last video I'm making this year" I was like what?! NOOOO! Then I realized it was new years eve

  • Cool Video ..TIm

  • Happy New Year Dave! I too am slowly building my Reaper, nervous to fly her though. Thanks for the tips and all your great videos, you do a great job!

  • @craigkarenmathew Thanks very kindly and especially for the long time support. Best regards, ~NightFlyyer~

  • Dave, Did you get a chance to fly Jeffs Art Tech Pitts to compare the differance between the two ? With the inprovements on yours, it looked like it really helped the preformance. I'am still going to look at the new Dynam Pitts when Nito gets them in. Tom

  • Happy New Year night flyyer

  • maddona?

  • @tomascontrerasjr The song is called "Express yourself" and I thought fitting for this segment.....'cause Jeff and I were Expressing ourselves. LOL.

  • Excellent as it always been!!!! Im all smiling watchin it ! Cheers!! :)

  • u are a relly good pilot i wish i was as cod as u bus i will get ther ever trid parkzone planes or just nitro plans???

  • Cool video... do you have the a video of you folding the wings?

  • @thechoosendude Yes....somewhere.

  • @thechoosendude I just found it. I actually had an airborne cam on it too, and captured the crash. Maybe if others want to see it, I will post it. Thanks kindly. ~NightFlyyer~

  • Good fun right there. Thanks. Happy New Year!

  • Thanks for all your videos this year Dave. I've watched every darn one of 'em! Lately I've been flying Aerofly 5.7 a lot, thanks to you. I really love it!

  • @flyingm1 I really appreciate that. I think I am going on in a few minutes for a little flying, as I fly AF 5.7 a lot too. Maybe I will see you there.

  • Happy New year!!! love all videos! cant wait for more in the new year!

  • Hey Dave. I have one of these that I'm slowly building. Any tips on what can be done to fix the wing spar problem?

  • @catamaranman333 Congratulations. Well, If I had to do it again, I would put a Carbon fibre spare in instead, or put a smaller one inside the existing spar. I guarantee the first tight loop at speed will fold the wing as mine did.

  • @NightFlyyer I had heard a similar story and assumed the unglued spar had slid completely into one wing leaving the other unsupported. Now that I hear you had the same issue, I will be strengthening however possible. My AUW is over 4 lbs. and I wanted to add more so I'm a little worried.

  • @catamaranman333 Again, well mine just bent. It would be impossible for it to slide, I would think. Put something in there that wont bend, 'cause that aluminum rod certainly will, especially with that extra weight. IT would be stronger if it was hollow instead of solid too. I would also beef up the nose gear, cause the thin brittle plywood it attaches too easily cracks in a rough landings.

  • @NightFlyyer Im setup for catapult launch so I left the gear out. I also needed a place to put autopilot/OSD and that cavity where the wheel's steering gear was intended to go was just too perfect and the main gear is soooo heavy! Mine has a hollow aluminum tube glued into the fuse and inside it is a solid carbon rod that, when in place protrudes about 8" into each wing. This rod can slide and I assumed it slid all the way into one wing. Ill be giving each wing its own, 36" spar.

  • That is such a cool plane!!!

  • great video . looking forward to more in the new year
