Well, you'd be morally right to 1099 every employee to resist card check, but the IRS clamps down on employees who hire too much work by 1099 when the IRS decrees (in their infinite judgment) that they really "should" be employees. Ive been a part of a labor union and I can tell you first hand that an individual with drive and ambition is chastised in union conditions. *you keep working like that and theyll expect it from all of us*. The U.S. has the second highest corporate tax rate in the world and now the Dems want to expand unions into every aspect of business possible. wake up sheeple, we all end up paying for all of it. CRA was enacted in 1977 under the carter administration, not under the clinton administration and clinton tweaked it to encourage business growth, now bush weakened it in 2005...so maybe its bushs fault? anyways, it says nothing...NOTHING about pushing risky loans...nice language by the way :)

as far as a reliable product, i have a 91 cavalier with 260000 miles gets 32 mpg and is still in decent shape, now if you want to go back and look a the early 70's chevy truck, when they first started importing steel, you wont find a 73-74 chevy intact, they rusted away just like the mid 80's early 90's toyotas and hondas.

Have you ever tried to litigate against a Union on the actions of a few members outside of strike conditions?...IF they're caught AND the victim is actually willing to testify they would never implicate the Union. Therefore, that's not just tough, it's nigh on impossible and the unions know it...they know it so well that it's their common practice even when it comes to bringing their own members "back in line" and it is their sole reason for inventing "Card Check"....

If someone wants to join a union, let 'em vote that way -- knowing of course that the most heavily unionised industries inevitably end in bankruptcy court (airlines, steel, autos). If they want to take the risk of not having a job in order to gain a few extra benefits, I'm ok with that. But don't try to influence someone elses decision through mob-like tactics.
