I have very long hair and I found it easier to split my hair into smaller sections. But in the end my hair was way to long for this bun, an wasn't really a bun, but just the whole back of my head covered with somewhat curly hair... :/

oh instead of twisting those little sections of hair u can do a loose braid and then hold the middle peice of the braid and pull up the rest of it and then pin it , havent tried it in a bun but it should look great , try it :D

Also when I pull up the twists, they don't stay as clear as on you, can it be that I twist my hair too tight? Should I try to do it on wet hair when (for me at least) it is usually easier to dress? @similovesu2121 The bun that I show in my video from March 19, 2011 is more suitable for very long hair. It actually uses the length and volume of your hair instead of creating an illusion of volume that I try to achieve here :)
