@STPconditions No matter how matches you win against someone, there's always someone who's going to beat you in face vs. face. Such as, Federer vs Nadal. People say "ha, Nadal is better than Federer because he surpassed him in matches". What about Davydenko? Is he better than Nadal just because he won more matches? This people nowadays...

Federer's backhand was poor in this match... it cost him the first 2 sets and the match but still... by far the best final I've ever seen with wimby 07.

@UrHeadsMyTarget For how much Rafa was attacking it I'd say his BH was doing pretty well. His forehand was superb.

@3timeMVPNash ya but i mean dumb errors cost him the first two sets and then it was hard to comeback which he did somehow but i mean maybe he would have won if he hadn't played those poor backhands in the first 2 sets...

@UrHeadsMyTarget Federer needs to go down the line with his backhand and 90% chance he will get to use forehand in the next shot. Pound the nadal backhand and go down the line for a winner. Nadal always leave space on his forehand side to protect his backhand. Repeat the drill in practice for 3 hours and he win. Most of the time Federer switch to some variety shit(slice,approach) to try entertain and it costs him. Monotennis beats mononadal.

all i remember saying was that as long as it went too a well fought 5 sets then i didn't mind who won and i wasn't disappointed. This was the best final i have ever seen and the stakes couldn't have been more higher. nuff said.

This game is overestimated truly. Federer who was governing grass lost. Roger was not the best in this game. He was the beginning of an age decline. And lateness of clear grass. The noisiness of Nadal in a ceremony is proving it. The flag of Spain is shaken. hangs and turns around a coat. runs up on a royal box. etc. It was very good that Novak Djokovic won Nadal this year. Since it proved that Nadal cannot win successively other than clay.
