  • This is the most beautiful piano piece in the world. I agree, the pianist has a very soft touch and makes each note come out so rich to make one enjoy the piece even more. The beautiful paintings make one feel like being in Paris France at the same time of listening to this beautiful piece. Thank you.

  • Wonderful...Nelson Freire makes me proud to be brazilian...

  • i heard this version ages ago but could not find it again. thanks for uploading it. slightly slower and softer than other versions which makes it sound so much more beautiful. great choice of paintings too they all seem hazy and dreamlike, suits the song well.

  • ¡¡¡¡Maaagiiicaaa...¡¡¡Quee Obraaa Uniicaaaa...Es Maaaraaaviillooosaaaaa!!!!!!

  • it is also one of the best videos to this piece on youtube

  • I like the way my dad plays it too

  • Everything Nelson Freire plays becomes magic, pure magic. His extremely accurate sense on bringing out sonorities, enhancing harmonies and structure and his extraordinary musicality is almost unbelievable. What a great pianist, what a great artist! thank you very much for sharing.

  • This is definitely one of my favourite interpretations although in parts I prefer it slightly slower.

  • Totally agree. Heard this piece a hundred times and this is by far the best. Soft, rounded, extremely pleasurable. Top stuff.

  • Distant, faint, dreamlike. Freire sheds new light on this piece.

  • Timeless piece. Unrivalled master pianist.
