I believe I read about this performance that Trevor wasn't happy, as Mike was supposed to give a signal to move to the next part of the song. This is Everyone I Went To High School With Is Dead, which has some standard improv sections, but Mike decided to really extend the improv bits.

Of course its music... Look up the definition of music, everything can be music and this happens to be music. Just cause you don't like or your mind can't comprehend it, doesn't make it not music. I would like to see you listen to avant garde jazz, i really would.
