I never realized how dark this song was before. is it just me or does a girl leave him and he's begging her to stay and then cut to later and he's being held for the crime of her murder. aka jenny WAS a friend of mine. and he's telling the cops "I've told you what you want to hear" etc etc. I love how odd and dark this song is

I like what he did with The Killers original version, but I've always liked The Killers for that hint of Brandon feel. He has a certain sortof sound, and it's drowning in this version. Therefore, my preference.

Who is that one overly critical person who gave a dislike, I mean this is quality music and I'm sure the band take pride in what they do and they know not everyone will like the songs, but you have to agree that the music has such a high level of quality. This version of the song makes more sense. It's beautiful, haunting, evocative and you can feel some connection with Jenny. I love the series of videos from Abbey Road Studios too. What a fantastic place to film in, so atmospheric and so unlike all those other faceless, unimaginative studios.
