i think it's actually a ESP model..because the headstock doesn't look pointy enuf to be a jackson... and the V looks kinda long to be a jackson..the one that kirk hammet plays is a jackson..this might be a ESP or a copy tha james might have bought around this time
@jfkdjfd are u sure??..cause i havent seen any explorers made by jackson....no i really think its an esp, u can see that on the headstock, that is says esp, and once again, jackson guitars all have that signature pointy headstock, this one doesnt, i think its an esp...james never really used jacksons..he's been an exclusive esp guy since day one
@NotoriousYeshi Yes, i am sure. you must be blind, no offence. It's a Jackson. Hetfield didn'y get into ESP's untill 1988. He got his Gibson Explorer when they Recorded Ride The Lightning. He had one Jackson, white. It broke at the middle of the neck. At 2:27, you can clearly tell it is a Jackson. If you can', then you need to get glasses. Go look at a White Jackson King V, and then look at the still foto at 2:27.
@NotoriousYeshi no its a jackson man do the research like the other dude said jackson wanted hetfield to support them i'm sure it had nothing to do with mustaine playing jacson v's at the time if you think he always used esp's you don't have a fukin clue the head stock doesn't say esp it says jackson ya know cause its hell nevermind
@realitysimulator ok ok...calm down dude i said it dont look like a jackson, but i didnt say it wasnt a jackson..it just looks a little different that the ones ive seen...its probably cause the KV2 and KV1 are more common since everyone used those...this one has long fins, the other ones have slightly shorter fins....i had never seen one like this that is why the confusion...
@NotoriousYeshi ok were cool but i'll explain it to you, you probably know that kirks jackson is a rhoads model the original king v had longer fins than modern ones they made dave mustaine his own custom model until i think 2003 or 4 t had shorter fins than the originals and jackson continues today with basically the same specs as daves hetfield had a regular king v on the puppets i guess because he missed his old electra v but prefered explorers
@realitysimulator ohh, alright, gotcha, yeah, i hadnt seen them king V's used that much with the long fins that is why they looked weird to me.....i was used to the KV2's or the dave mustaine jackson V...thanks for the info..

This is 1986 people, Dave Mustaine didn't even start the Jackson Signature Series V's it's James' personal custom
spike007980 2 years ago
Okay we know that, but it went on to being dave's signature model. I have seen this video before btw.
