In some he cheats on Guinevere & some it's Morgause who has the child Mordred. However, we are not talking about the legends here at all but BBC's Merlin & we have no idea whether Gwen goes off w/Lancelot at all. But I do know there will NOT be a kiss or sex btw Arthur and Morgana, period. Tthis is a family show and that's too much family "interaction" for a show like this.

I always thought the writers rushed their relationship, the tension should bulid up between them and over time you can see them change and develope as people. all they're conversations are made out to show the viewer how much they care. They're 'obvious' denial is supposed to translate as "We're in love" and that's all they ever talked about.

@naleyluver I would have said yes, there is a chance, only Mordred already exists so wtf? Maybe they will make a complex storyline like he was actually her son brought out of the future and that's why she had such an intense connection with him...
