@Jun4h ich würde mich an deiner Stelle erstmal informieren, bevor ich einen Kommentar abgebe. ER covert zwar größtenteils bekannte Stücke, komponiert aber auch Eigene, wie z.B. Chelsea girl. @waldraut92 Sich die einstimmigen Melodien dieser Lieder rauszuhören und aus dem Kopf zu spielen erfordert kein großes Können und gerade für jemanden wie David Garrett ist das überhaupt kein Problem aus dem einfachen Grund, dass er eben ein professioneller Musiker ist. Fakt ist jedoch auch, dass diese Popsongcovernummer 1. absolut Asbach ist und 2. kaum spielerischen Anspruch erfordert, verglichen mit der Klassik, die er ja durchaus auch spielen kann. Imho verkauft er sich damit unter Wert.
@KixXx22 Oh, dann kennst Du offensichtich die Discographie von David Garrett nicht. Bisher sind viele eigene Kompositionen veröffentlicht: Serenade, Rock prelude, Eliza's Song, Winter Lullaby, New Day, Toccata, Chelsea Girl, 80th anthem, Rock Symphony. Es lohnt sich, da mal reinzuhören!!!
david hat viele selbstgeschrieben lieder auf seinen alben die her hammer sind er spielt sie nur meistens nicht live... nur bei seiner "encore" tour hat er eins live gespielt und das war rock prelude vom album encore

I think in this particular video they may be laughing because David can't get the mike out of the mike stand after fooling with it for sometime. It's around the time of the guitar solo.
it was a dialogue with the producer. He listened to his ear-phone and said to the producer, that the public could not hear, what he said to David. So they must think he's gone mad, talking to himself...

I've seen David 3 times in the U.S. and think he's the most talented, charismatic musician to come aroung in a VERY long time. I hope, someday, I'll be able to see him play core classical, as well.

Siehe Amazon.de mit den Kritiken. Übrigens wurde der Titel anlässlich des Konzertes - meiner Meinung nach - ganz erheblich besser gespielt.
Ich könnte ihn aus einer aufgezeichneten TV-Sendung hochladen.
