I really hate Nigel Mansell. No doubt in my mind that he is one of the greatest british champions, behind Hill and Stewart. Also one of the best F1 drivers. However what I hate him for is the fact that on many occasions he slags off todays F1 drivers for having so much technology in their cars that its the driving aids doing all the work. Yet if I recall, so did Mansells 1992 Williams that he won the championship in. He was always moaing to, and making up bad excuses!

i was a huge mansell fan back in the days but realised later he was a bit of a cunt. his attitude smelt of shit. he's better than damon hill though - he was shit.

Nigel has always been one of the most underated F1 drivers, but certainly one of my favorites for his ability to drive and succeed in a broad spectrum of race cars.

Did Alain Prost really say he would never step into a race car again? Or did he say he would never race F1 again? I recently saw him ice racing for Kia Motors in Europe.
Lol, he didn't say that GP2 are slower, they are faster. But F3 is totally different than GP2, some drivers who drive in Gp2 never go to F1, all of the drivers in F3 just use F3 as a stepping stone.
I know he didn't say that GP2 cars are slower, I'm saying that in my opinion I think the GP2 cars are more like F1 cars then the F3 cars as I've seen them both styled and perform like F1.

They are not scaled down F1's. They are about the same size, but they have much less power and so cannot afford generate huge downforce.

Hmmm, Interesting that he says that the cars are like F1 cars. To me, the GP2 cars look and perform alot more like the F1 cars.

Yes they are more alike F1 cars than Gp2 cars, but as a stepping stone to formula 1, F3 is more important.
