There are literally hundreds of court decisions on this very issue. And, guess what? First Amendment rights trump traffic flow every time. And, by the way, in the most recent Rochester march the police escorted the demonstrators to their destination at the Federal Courthouse. That's what they should have done in the first place if they had any training.

I live in Rochester, and I can say now that these sort of things never start riots, I've seen quite a bit of it and all it ever does is cause a bit of noise. I CAN SAY however that the cops in Rochester are assholes. They are not as bad as in other cities (LA, Tampa, San Diego, San Jose, etc.), just dicks when you are in your car and they want to nail you with tickets. You can drink beer on the street here and no one will stop you. it is 2009 and we are still engaged in a 6 year occupation that no one wants in Iraq. We are escalating an 8 year occupation in Afghanistan that we literally can not afford (with growing unemployment, uninsured people, and foreclosures). Clearly, there is no democracy in this country via our two party system--otherwise we would not be in these quagmires. If you are against these protesters you are a tool--plain and simple. Everyone should be outraged enough to take the streets like that!

Please upload all of the original, full length movies, instead of the spliced together. That way it is easier to see that the protesters were NOT obstructing the fire truck, and also to see the events leading up to the beatings, not just the Baton throwing at protestors.

Then, everyone who keeps saying "It was the protesters fault" can finally see it wasn't and shut up.
