  • It's the most versatile and responsive overdrive on the market! I'm getting one for sure!!!

  • It´s the PCB version?

  • @nicocopo That is the hand wired, but the pcb version sounds the same.

  • i want that plexi in the backgroung

  • FUCKING AWESOME, love the combination

  • God damn that is some hot overdrive!

  • スゴく良い音。欲しくなりました。

    ギターも非常に上手いと思います。

  • I'm going to stack one of these with my Boiling point... or get a Timmy! ;-) Hmmm which one?

  • Very nicely done!!!! Sweet tone, great dynamics!

Whats the head on the left cab?

  • @gixxerloverletsgo21

Hi, that is a Mad Professor CS-40 head.

  • Great lesson on pick control and dynamics!

  • Comment removed

  • This is incredible, it's all left to picking dynamics, you don't really have to do anything to get a clean tone, that's amazing.

  • What cab is the amp running through, speakers?

  • Early 70's Marshall 4x12 cabinet with Celestion G12H speakers.

  • what model lester is that?

  • 1998 LP 1959 Historic, all original with '57 Classic pickups

  • sweet!

  • if you used this with a compressor, would that eliminate the dynamics of it?

  • I use myself often compressor as solo boost with SHOD, it will reduce some dynamics but you'll get great singing lead tone.

  • @harrikka compressor before or after? Im wondering how the dynamics could be preserved if the compressor is run before it- seems that would take away from the beauty of this cleaning up with a soft pick attack! thoughts?

  • I use it before, the compressor makes the leads more fluid and it cuts trough better. Yes, you will loose some dynamics, but with single note rock solos you need more body than dynamics. Mild compression will not kill the dynamics...

Of course for mellow blues and soft music you do not the compressor.

  • wow!!! @ 1:42

  • At high gain settings, is this the 'OD sound' of the pedal or is it also boosting the overdriven tubes? Or in other words: when I have my tube amp at low volume, does the pedal deliver this kind of distortion? And is it more a OD or a distortion pedal??

I really like the pedal and how you play: old school tone!

  • The tone at this clip is only from the pedal, the amp is not distorting at all. You hear just the pedal distortion and you get this much distortion with any amp.

  • Great! Pretty versatile pedal then, together with the sweeter sound that Gregor Hilden is getting in his clips when using this pedal. I have to get one!!

  • what amp is he playing over ?

  • Mad Professor CS-40 amp into 4x12 cabinet.

  • Because it was made in Europe. Euro is stronger than the weak ass dollar.

  • Holy shit....it's $312.

  • I swear I have an electra that offers "close" to that amount of dynamics. But it doesn't have the tone controls.

  • Nice Tone! Can you use it as a booster in front of an overdriven amp too?

  • Yes, it works very fine in front of a distorted amp too. Keeps that touch sensitivity even then.

  • i want one really i do

  • Sounds great H, GAS inducing ;o)

  • SWEET TONE!!!! You have some killer gear there!

  • Oh my god. This is the greatest overdrive ever.
