  • superb!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If you think about the huge volume of Behringer products offered against their product failure rate then I'm sure their products stack up well for the price.

  • My feeling on Behringer is you get what you pay for. I have some great sounding (the Ultra Harmonizer is amazing) but really chintzily made pedals. That being the case, I keep them at home - away from grime and beer!

  • They kill the ones over 25 and blend them into gruel for the next generation of hatchlings

  • They have nets outside the dorms to CATCH THE JUMPERS

  • I bought Behringer Truth 2030A after comparing them to KRK and Mackie and a whole bunch of others. In a blind test I loved the sound of Behringer. Do they have soul? Who gives a shit. I like the sound and thats all that counts. People with their condescending opinions (and their insecuritues by justifying their expensive overpriced crap) can go get screwed.

  • my biggest investment i bought from Behringer is the Eurodesk MX-9000 in Spring of 2005 and been very very happy with it for home recording and is a great console to train someone who wants to learn mixing for recording or even live sound! Thank you Behringer for making high performance affordable for those of us on a budget wanting to learn the art of prosound by the way my Bass amp is a Behringer and my signal proccessing as well Keep up the Great Work Behringer!

  • This video hasn't swayed me from Behringer. Its called mass production and it helps everyday people who are still trying to make it. In my opinion, they seem to be doing a pretty good job compared to other companies. I will continue to rep Behringer.

  • I have XENYX502 mixer and I'm quite satisfied with it. I had no chance to "test" other Behringer products, but I cannot say it's a crap.

  • this video is great. it gives a great unbiased perspective of the company.

  • highly enjoyable, very informative. narrator sounds like a war correspondent reporting on the aftermath of a genocide or plague. :-) 5 stars

  • Wonderful insight. I'll be getting one of their A500's.

  • "If gear doesn't spec out and is then used by a postal worker to kill people in a Wal-Mart, then heads will roll." lol

On a more serious note, my church when I was in Alabama had a complete Behringer set up. Mixer, amps, speakers, monitors, fx, compressor, di boxes, all of it Behringer, with exception of the Shure microphones. All of it worked flawlessly for the six years I there. It was a major upgrade from their previous system, which consisted of a karaoke machine and two mics.

  • In China, and other parts of Asia, it's true that people share dorms close to work and that living is a lot more communal. Personally, I stayed for about 2 months in a village in at a NGO in Thailand and found it a nice to change to living in Australia. I found that people helped each other a lot more whereas in Melbourne, despite the larger amount of people... it feels like everyone is out for themselves. Just my opinion though.

  • Great video, I always wondered what it was like in Behringer City, and now I know. I recently bought a Behringer Guitar Link, to help me develop my guitar effects software, and I have to say I'm very happy with it.

  • well...nicely said...but...if u had used the Behringer vocal compressor for this naration - ur voice would probably be nicer !!!!!! u talk about behringer? god damn, what gear do u use? just listen to ur voice .... Haaah....

  • i will not buy behringer anymore

  • inanimate objects don't have souls, so your argument is completely pointless. behringer gear works great, everything I've bought does it's job, still works after 10 years, unlike some of my other bits of gear. Well presented though, enjoyed the narration.

  • the narrator sounds like the fucking man.

  • nice!!

  • theres nothing wrong with behringer. what they sell is designed as cheaper gear that can compete to a degree with other gear.

  • Well your a faggot

  • look over your ears brat

  • Haha! Your funny :D

  • Brand snob!

  • Behringer es una marca muy vendida en venezuela es muy bueno tanto en consola "Mixer" como el ecualizadores.

  • INTERESTING indeed!!

  • great piece!

  • Funny, because he said that in Part 1 in reference to Behringer's customers in the 90's, not necessarily today, and he does allude to it being different, and that his prejudices against Behringer are outdated. They make a product that's simply good enough at a low price, it's up to the consumer if that's good enough. For me, it is.

  • This is an awesome video. I'd wish there were more like these from different companies here.

I would say not ALL behringer products are as good as the competitions lowend-to-midend.

To beat an Alesis, Lexicon MPX or TC M series on reverbquality is not Behringers strong side.

  • I currently owns a pair of 2031A and a 2091.

Especially the 2091 is a brilliant Subwoofer for the price, and if setup correctly.

I foind the assemble quality of the A2031s a bit on the lacking side, since three out of four basreflex ports was not glued in correctly, resulting in plastic vibrating annoyingly around 100-300 Hz. Glued it and is now a fine pair for the price asked.

  • A MDX2600 compressor: I love it :D

A MX8000 (aka Mackie 8Bus copy not sold in North-America): Not very good MIC-pre's. Silent but is somewhat harsh in the treble/upper-mid bands.

A UB1202 Mixer. A LOT of bang for the money, and serves me well in my live-keyboard setup. And the MIC pre's are much better with the MIC's I mentioned before)

Finally a CT-100 Cable Tester. Brilliant Box :D

  • I own an iAxe393. though everyon told me it was a piece of yunk, i dindnt care, i booght it, and i totally love it. It sounds and FEELs almos as good as like my good old Strat. Its a great product. I recommend Behringer

  • I was formerly skeptical about Behringer's products, but I gave one product a try, a B1 mic, and later, a mixer, and now I own their top-end EQ and loudspeaker managers and am about to spring for their flagship mixer. It has no particular sound--it shouldn't. It should just pass the audio as it is, unless of course you want to change it in some way.

The factory tour demonstrates their total commitment to Capitalism and is a shining example of what it achieves.

  • Well now that bugera is a fraction of behringer, behringer has a sound and its awesome!!!

  • I agree with the person talking on this Video.

While Behringer doesn't have it's own "distinct sound" or anything that really sets it apart, it does act as a kickstart for those beginning in Audio and Music.

I used Behringer a lot as a Student (amongst many brands), and still find it now that I am working in industry, and found no real problems with the gear. It's easy to setup and operate, and sometimes they offer features and equipment no other audio company makes.

  • Those who are heavily oppressed always party the best.

  • hahaha.. yes!

  • ROFL. Dude, that quote was like a revelation :D

  • This doco was actually a pleasure to watch... and fairly artistic in a literative way.., if that's a word.

  • see my channel ebaystars for an engineering test insight into what problems we had with behringer stuff, they dont reply to our emails, what do you expect,

  • Behringer is a great company for the price not every one can afford a thousand dollar mixer. Behringer makes affordable prizes!!

  • i made the music ,

guitars are just instrument, but i never think before watch this about the mass production factory , i mean a guitar its just a thing , mine is a good guitar not perfect but good ,and with almost no money in this modern world i can play . i can play .

  • bongs

  • Audiotech magazine rocks !!! Serious literature for serious recording engineers.

I recorded and mixed an album with Behringer preamps and desk that was in top 5 for best independant Aus/NZ release 2004... So if you say Behringer is crap you need to take a look at your abilities...

Yeah, theres better gear out there, but the abilities of the engineer will ALWAYS be the final deciding factor..

  • @rdmsstudio this is SO true. I've listened to plenty of music coming from studios loaded with the VERY "best of the best" as prices go, and the quality is often shit! Behringer does a great job of providing access to the masses, and the truth is, i'll take a talented enginer in an all-behringer room vs. an average engineer in a "high end" room every single time. Go Behringer!

  • damn nice

  • Guy's voice is so relaxing...

  • seconded

  • much selling out during the making of this?

  • Great video, excellent, really loved it.. really.. Thanks a lot.. Liked the way You commented, very very good.

  • fantastic vid, ive always wondered how cheap they make their stuff

  • that wasn an absolutely fantastic video. i love behringer stuff. only started using some of their products about 2 months ago. for the price i paid, i can hardly believe how good their stuff is (an acoustic amp and a couple of effects pedals)

  • Great documentary about what goes into behringer, really loved the slant! ive just started using behringer's guitar pedals and was totally floored by the prices as well. I kind found your video while looking for reviews for the Tube Monster. really great that u did this :)

  • Great video - thanks for showing me what went into my Behringer products. I was wondering what the secret behind the price-performance ratio of my PodcaStudio USB kit was.

  • WHO DOES NOT got a satisfaction with Behringer products - he or she can allways choose other brands, who knows-maybe they will get less for more money?

  • There suff feels really well made everything is metal. is this an ad?

  • Very interesting video tour. Thanks! I actually use Behringer equipment for live sound support (main power amps and mixing board) and I have found it to work great. Normal working musicians don't get paid enough for over-priced, fancy name brands. This stuff works great four nights a week, week in week out. The fact that most of their stuff now includes switching transformers is particularly nice. Check out the Bluesberry Jam videos if you are interested.

  • If Behringer would stop lying about their wattages I and many others would have a better opinion of them.

For instance a "300 watt" (3 channel) Behringer amp gets completely drowned out by an old 75 watt practice amp

  • it would be cool to have an interview of Uli Behringer and hear him talk specifically about the products that are exact replicas of other brands. Like their cable tester. It's the same as the Ebtech unit. the only difference is color. I don't care how sexy Uli Behringer is, you don't do that. That's just fuking wrong.

  • Behringer gear is fine. The good thing about it is that if a piece breaks after a few years you can easily just buy another one since most of it is so inexpensive.

  • interesting. thanks.

  • what do you guys think about their equipment?

  • uli behringer is sooooo yummy!!

  • hahah his buttchin is so sexi

  • I quess all the 6 and 7 year old workers stayed home that day.

  • with the pregnant women and very old people.

  • yes yes, we musn't forget the elderly

  • Interesting stuff. Cheers.

  • Guy's voice is so relaxing...

    Interesting vid.

  • australians r liek the most relaxed people after malaysians

  • Where are the giant rooms of Chinese engineers reverse-engineering other manufacturers' designs?

  • hhahah, no comment on this opne either...sweet. another awesome vid
