@Livy8ful Evolution does not explain the origins of life, only the variety of species that we see. Scientists are currently looking into abiogenesis but it is still a young field of research. Evolution also does not explain the big bang or gravity but that is because it does not try to.
Well now, I normally hate when people add music to videos. But....not this time. Thanks for the awesome video and introducing me to a song I now love!
You dang ole heathens dun better stop postin' dis Godless crap cuz on Judgement Day Jeezuz is gonna come and judge the righteous. And dem dang seklurists who take Satanic Evilution LIES seriously is gonna get burned in da fires a' Hell boy!
@MsAgnosticatheist It is something we take for granted. It is sad that most people will never look at nature and the world around them with a deep enough understanding to fully appreciate existence.
@Chibling I wonder, will we ever get to that point when we have the understanding to "fully" appreciate nature? Our comprehension is far from full, and nature teaches us over and over again that it is full of surprises. We have far fewer of the answers than we think, and that is the beauty of it. Nature is a painting with more strokes than we can count. It is a poem with the most intricate rhythm. It is a novel that is accessible on the surface, yet always surprises with its inexhaustible depth.
@Raptorman117 I agree to a certain extant. There is much that we do not know. At the same time there is much that we do know. The existence of atomic particles for one and the entire field of organic chemistry. Also we know about DNA and our entire genome. The coding mechanism within all our cells. Most people never think on this level. So perhaps I should have said that a deeper scientific understanding helps in the appreciation of nature despite not knowing everything about it.
@Raptorman117 Very well put. Love the line "It is a novel that is accessible on the surface, yet always surprises with its inexhaustible depth." Sums it up just right. What I find most interesting about nature/the cosmos/reality is how...poignant...it all is. Just thinking about the evolution of the universe...from the big bang to now, across 15 billion years. Why should such a process appear so...moving? Why is that? Why does it feel so important deep deep down to the core? Such a mystery...
@Raptorman117 We will never be able to understand nature... mainly because we're probably going to destroy it before we're given the time to understand it. We think of ourselves as the epitome of nature, but we are only a blip in a long story of amazing creatures. No matter how many things we think we know Nature will always reveal a doorway to things we did even know could be possible. Nature will teach us her ways but we have to be open enough to listen
I can't stop watching this video, it makes me smile, it makes me cry, it makes me feel so connected to everything. Evolution is so amazing, i wish more people could see the beauty and awe in science.
I love this video, the way they make the lines and how it spreads out. The music tops it off. Great job!
I've never felt so connected to life and other animals, insects, reptiles, fish, plants, single cells, etc. Evolution is so beautiful and thinking about the tree of life and the way it branches off is so amazing. Better than religion. I'm stoned so the animation looks extra awesome. Life is so awesome!!!
@MsAgnosticatheist I am glad the video had such an impact... it was the impact that was intended. Life IS amazing, life IS incredible... and we are ALIVE! :)
I believe it is Quantic (Will Holland) he apparently mixed it in his room one day. Bonobo maybe did a remix of it? Bonobo and Quantic are on the same Tru Thoughts label.
great music - great animation - but does not in anyway explain how life came about - but then Darwin never did either!

The music really makes the video awesome, and the titles of the dates too, the best is the video itself.
