I really wish this song was around when I was still 18. It was the best year of my life, I constantly wish I could go back to that year. I was young and in love, felt like I was on top of the world after graduating high school and had the whole world in front of me. I'd go to endless places with my friends. Now I'm 20 and things are like the complete opposite. Everyone is away at school, we never have time for each other and my love is long gone. :/

i was on the football team in 2004 and recently got this brand new CD because i thought "the quiet things" and "sic transit" were amazing, which ultimately got me into them like crazy. we had a 3 hour bus ride to our game, won in an epic fashion, and left around 9 PM back home. this song came on as i was dozing away to sleep in the most calming manner i've ever experienced in my high school years. cheers.

my four ex-best friends and i hung out every single day last spring. smoked, played guitar, talked, and occasionally had a group jam session. this was always one of the first songs we sang/played. this year is terrible and now im only friends with one our of four of these people. this song makes me think of last spring and i pretty much feel like bawling. i may seem like a big baby, but this song fit us perfectly and it makes me sad thinking about ittt. :/

this song was the favourite song of my son and his friend they used to sing it togehter sadly he died tragically 4 years ago today would have been his birthday and we are all listening to this

@20duane Your profile says you're 23, which means your son died when you were approx. 19. I'm curious as to how old your son was; I know very few 3 year olds whose favorite song is by Brand New. Hell, I don't even remember being 3 but I'm pretty sure I'd be more into songs on Sesame Street. Because, well, I'd just be a god damn toddler.
