Okay let me clear this up, this is NOT Muse's song, it was written by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse for the 1965 musical "The Roar of the Greasepaint—the Smell of the Crowd."
It has been covered by several artists however, including Muse.

they did a pretty big cover of it, i think is all. well and i think they were going a bit for the sound of muse's cover.
