  • she still has a great voice.

  • DAMN... after all these years she still wears red outfits!

  • I just wish they hadn't put "Dumb Dog" in there. That ruined it! I mean, Annie is SUPPOSED to have Tomorrow with Sandy, and she's supposed to love the dog! Aileen, you know that, right?

  • she still looks the same as she did when she was 10.

  • ♥!

  • She still sounds great!!!

  • Maybe was my favorite also!!! XD

  • she can't sing anymore

  • @RyGil91 she was singing in a different key which is normal when your voice changes to change the key you sing a song in. She can sing fine.

  • When she said 'Amanda' I was like :O haha My name is Amanda

  • i love annie !!!!!

  • She has the same smile :D

  • I'm in love with Aileen!

  • That's kooL

  • I remember her as a natural dark red head and she looked just like in the movie when she was 18. I went on a date with her in college(with a few other people) then she invited me to her dance competition at U of Arizona the next day. I had some kids sing Tomorrow to her as they brought her food out, but they didn't know she was the real Annie. She seemed like the best girl. Being Aileen, or around Aileen, seems better than being Annie.

  • @rochelle1088 isn't rochelle a girl's name?

  • @JeezboozXD

Just for the record, I'm a male. I met Aileen when she was visiting U of Arizona from her dance program in Pomona College in California, I think. She was 18 or 19, and said she was sick of the Tomorrow song, so I had some kids at Two Pesos restaurant bring her food out singing it...COINCIDENTALLY, no joke, one of the kids went to the same showbiz school back east with her in junior high. She recognized him from the hallways of school! Aileen has amazing impact on people.

  • CHANGE THE RED OUTFIT PLEASE!!!!!!

  • I guess the curtains don't match the drapes..

  • I remember when i was growing up in the 80s I wanted to be Annie! I even had an annie perm lol and i wore the red dress and black shoes lol I always wondered where she was now lol

  • Nicely done.

  • I wanted to be like her 8 years ago.

  • she still sings beautifuly

  • Wayyy

  • She is still a good singer

  • I watched about this in a show about most amazing child actors & became curios after hearing you were determined to get a grown up starring role in a movie, wow staying on track amazes me so much about you Aileen! Could've seen you when I was 10 in the musical but they canceled that night for some reason. Wish you all the best girl! ♥

  • Favorite movie as a kid. Was always freaked out when "Annie" had to climb the bridge trestle to get away Rooster after being kidnapped.

  • With a name like Aileen Quinn she has to have some Irish in her! & i always thought she was a natural red head!

  • Swwweeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Awww she's still got it! :D

  • I wonder if she had vocal nodules...her voice sounds a little raspy now.

  • I absolutely loved this movie when I was a kid!! I think she did an outstanding job!! I am approaching 40 now & still think it's an awesome movie!!!

  • Isn't she embarresed by the fact that she couldn't act or sing back then?

  • @Echosofthemind she could do both

  • in frog prince is she most cutiest from all

  • Love Aileen!!! But did she forget the lyrics to Tomorrow? You're always a day away...she sang You're only a day away. Well, it was a long time ago. She is so hot!!!

  • Just made my day.

  • So wierd how Annie, Molly and Pepper are teachers now o.O

  • she was such a bright shining star . Nobody past or present can sing the song tomorrow just right like how Aileen could.

  • Wow she is just as cute now, as I remember her being as a kid. Good on her!

  • my twin n i were in a depression with r farther while my mom was working r dad was rude were were in grd 7 n no9w were 19 n just the fact the only way to express r feeling was singing to this n acting this we actrual;ly no thew entire line my mom gets madd lol weneever we s9ng n act thiss n dance it we use toi get raggedy clothes n r cat for sandy n now were no longer little i look back at this n dsayy i got my voice cause of this were happy now like annie

  • I loved this movie when I was a kid. And now my 2 y-o son loves it!!

  • My 11 year old daughter and I sit on the staircase of our small rented house here in Mexico and sing the song Tomorrow and it frees me from my life here and it unites me with my baby girl. I'm 50. I 'm her father. God loves us when we sing. Peace.

  • good to see your face aileen maybe is my favorite too<3

  • Aileen, you're still gorgeous! Will ya marry me? (I was 8 when I saw the movie)!

  • She looks just the same, especially in the facial expression and eyes! ^_^

  • She did have red hair she dies it now..:)

  • @wowloverules No she didn't ! That was a wig. That's why she had trouble getting more work because of people like you She had straight light reddish brown hair halfway down her back She could have played all sorts of roles but was typecast . She is now a Spanish teacher who occasionally does stage . At least she didn't get into drugs and rob the Kwiki Mart or have illegitimate kids to three different "musicians". Hollywood turned their back on her but she can still hold her head up..

  • @dwarflover63 Chill out my little sister is 8!! She was on my account and what do u mean people like her all she said was annie did have red hair she dies it now she didn't no!

  • @wowloverules no she has always had brown hair. you can see her in the audition process here on youtube xxxx

  • @Alaurahpinder1990 Sorry my younger sister was on my account sorry guys!:S Xxx

  • I think she looks great now.

  • oh god aileen looks awful now! She was so cute when she was little! DAYUM AILEEN YOU GOT CU CU CU OLD!! (dr. roxo from metalocalypse)

  • @wiisalute YOU need glasses !

  • @dwarflover63 im just kidding. It looks like her a little bit. but she's so old. she's like 40

  • aaahh .. it was a wig? :O i thouughtt is was her real hair :( i likeed it better when i thought she was a red head !

  • I loved her singing at the end <3

  • i just started screaming when she started singing! <3 <3

  • Aileen Quinn is the best Annie and Carol Burnette is best Mrs Hannigan:]

  • lol i'm sobbing right now!

  • lol i'm sobbing

  • When I first saw this movie in kindergarten, I knew I'd love it forever.

  • I Wonder What Alicia Morton Looks Like Now

  • But...In the credits of Annie at the starts, it says 'Sandy as herself' And she said that the dog was called Bingo...

  • @elaineypops It actually said "Sandy as HIMself" (Sandy was a male) - I guess everyone called the dog Sandy so it was easier to credit him that way. Toto's real name was Terry, but everyone called him "Toto."

  • @elaineypops Sandy was played by two dogs. One, named "Bingo", did most of the dramatic scenes, and the other did the stunt work (such as jumping into the pool). so the other must have been called sandy. info from imdb

  • @arielleashleymiley ahhh okay. Thank you! :)

  • @elaineypops I know they had a stunt dog, but that dog wouldn't get the name credit. I say they pulled a media. By that I mean they don't do this as often now but it used to be, if they were using an animal in movies, they never wanted the audience to know it wasn't "real". The audience liked it better if they thought the animal wasn't trained. Now the audience has pretty much got a grip that somebody trained the animal so it probably has a different name. I say it was for the audience.

  • @elaineypops They do that for all movies featuring dogs for some reason. Like in the Wizard of Oz Toto was called Toto in the credits.

  • @LaneCormier They're not as bad about it now, but yes the animal appeal for audiences used to be they were more interested in the animal if they thought it was natural. As in not trained and it's name is it's name. They were more into it if they thought the dog was "real". Now pretty much everyone always assumes the dog is trained and likely has a different name. So now they don't do that as much with animals on screen.

  • omg when she sings i can see her as a young girl again its soo cute

  • SHE LOOKS GOOD....SHE SOUNDS EXACTLY THE SAME

  • LEAPING LIZARDS!! SHE CAN STILL SING!

  • Clearly whoever edited this has no understanding of music, they superimposed young Annie and old Annie singing in totally different keys! lol. But anyway so cool to hear her sing it in her mature voice (and in a lower key of course)

  • LEAPING LIZARDS!!....... her hair color isn't really RED!! i thought it was XD lol

  • That's too cool :D

  • wow I was convinced that she was a real ginger :)

  • @9raider

    same here!!

  • Wow! She can still sing, and she looks exactly the same!

  • oh my god, look at her now, she's beautiful!

  • the best Annie ever.

  • Aileen Quinn will turn 40 years old this year. Thats crazzy!

  • @brusselstarlight whoa. she's young.

  • I actually saw this in the theatre in 1982, when I was a little girl. My cousin and I were hooked on this. We would play the record over and over again. Wow, so much time has gone by!

  • omg! it kills me when she sings at the end! it kills me!! i love, love, love it!!! =)

  • Oh my goshh.....i love this! I love how Aileen says "I love ya" the same way in the song "Tomorrow" back then when she was 10 and also right now!

  • WILLOW SMITH IS NEXT! :D

  • @socheezayy LMAO

  • @MissHannahJanel LOL ITS TRUE! XD

  • @socheezayy Willow smith is a new hip hop artist; Aileen quinn is a broadway and hollywood legend, I'm sorry but it's almost a sin to compare the two. Not that Willow smith isn't talented but they are two completely different types of artists. Especially since willow smith isn't an actress 0.o. It's like you just took two random people and compared them Lol.

  • @MissHannahJanel Lol, I didn't compare the two. I simply said that Willow is next to be Annie in the remake. Umm, she is an actress actually ahaha. She played in her father's movie 'I am Legend'. Which was AWESOME :D. And I think she did a pretty damn good job in that movie. But, thanks anyways.

  • @socheezayy Sorry she's not a legend a broadway legend, Ailieen Quinn is. She hasn't been casted as Annie yet anyways lol. She was just someone born into fame. That's my opinion and you have yours. Calm down, its all good lol. "But thanks anyways..." Uhm not really sure what you're thanking me for haha 0.o

  • @socheezayy and I wasn't aware they were even considering for the part..it would be very weird if she got it lol

  • @socheezayy Yes, disgusting isn't it?? And she'll be the first ANNIE in history not only to be black but to have never had to audition for the role.

  • @socheezayy I dont think so I dont think tht willow can even sing I find her voice annoying! where as Aileens voice is so pure and amazing nobody could replace tht not in a millon years :D

  • @animelover3331 Well Willow will in a few months ahaha!

  • i loved when she sang at the end. i think she was the best Annie too. the producers and everyone did a great job choosing her

  • I love ANNIE I'm watching the movie w/ my kids right now! just had to look Aileen up! she rocks!! :o)

  • Aileen I love you! I am from Taiwan!!

  • 0:48 Sarah Jessica Parker??

  • She was the perfect Annie I love this movie I am 26 and I LOVE IT!

  • Yes aileens 39 ish so she's still alive and works at Monmouth university. I love this film- it is definately a classic!

  • @Kayster33 Lmao... are people here really asking if she's still alive? No... she died in her sleep of old age last year....

  • I was obsessed with the Annie album and movie! Aileen and I were the same age when the film came out and I was just in love with her performance! She seems lovely as an adult and I'm glad she's still performing. Such a talent~!

  • I was the same age as Aileen Quinn and I was in love with this movie!! I had the record and the doll. Aileen was amazing!!!!!!! She was my idol as a child! She seems really lovely in this interview. Glad she's still performing. :)

  • she's just so sweet

    legend

  • She's Great!!!! she looks like such a nice person!

  • SHES SO AWESOME!!!

  • She's a cutie!

  • It's weird when it goes from the movie version of the song to Aileen (today) singing it, because their singing in different keys.

  • I love her smile and head bob at the end when they fade her out.

  • awww man. im black, i like gucci mane, 3 6 mafia, and all types of gansta shyt....but i will always have a place in my heart for this movie

  • leaping lizards ! <3

  • I had a crush on her when I was 9!

  • she always was a great singer...i loved her in Annie.

  • @ainslieleeshrivera she is a teacher at my school lol

  • I don't beleive that it hasn't affected her. I mean for she looks like a nervous wreck to me, and singing those songs, i mean really..?!?!? The woman is 40 years old!! The singing moment reminded me of the stories of Judy Garland at the end of her career being made to sing 'Over The Rainbow' at 47. I find it pathetic.

  • @TONYFROMWESTSIDE shes actually 39 not 40 :)

  • So pretty I loved this girl from back in the day and Wow what a fox it's cool she wasn't corrupted into boosey lowhan....she kept her talent and youthful looks.

  • i know her personally

  • @JoshCraz24

    HOW?!

    OMGSH JEALOUS

  • wasnt there a sequel to Annie? i remember that it was abt finding her parents. mrs hannigan's brother disguises as her father, and takes her away, but then daddy warbucks rescues her. and i think towards the end he asks his secretary to marry him too.

am i rite? or did i just make that up?

  • @aiyinamyna Lol

  • @auntiemary4 I think that was just part of the original movie.

  • @auntiemary4 I think that was just part of the original movie.

  • Not a sequel, that IS what the movie Annie is about. It's just that the beginning of it is the sad part in the orphanage.

  • @auntiemary4 there is a sequel ! that one is a different very of annie. but there is indeed another one where annie helps molly escape the orphange to go on vacation with her & she gets adopte while on vacation & never has to return to the terrible orpahnge.

  • @auntiemary4 yes its the 1999 movie

  • @auntiemary4 That was the Annie not a sequel it all happened on the same show

  • @aiyinamyna that was the ending to the movie

  • @aiyinamyna i'm pretty sure thats just the end of the movie, i don't think there was a sequel, or if there was i didn't see it.

  • @aiyinamyna .. ahh yes that was the 1999 one i dont think its as good tho :L

  • @aiyinamyna

    same movie =)

  • That wasn't a sequel. That was the plot of the original 1982 movie.

Columbia Pictures did make a direct-to-TV sequel in 1995 called "Annie: A Royal Adventure." And in 1999, Disney did a re-make of the 1982 movie.

  • @aiyinamyna there is a sequal..called Annies royal adventure..

  • @aiyinamyna Um, that happened in Annie.

  • @aiyinamyna

That is the Roger and Hammerstein version of Annie. Also very good!

  • @aiyinamyna um that's the first one and there is no sequel. lol

  • @Lauratkd1 There WAS a sequal movie in the 1990's with Joan Collins, but it wasn't anything like the original film. It was an indirect sequal.
