You're exactly right. When I was a teenager, my dad was obsessed with these so we went and looked at them at dealers. The interior was a major turn off and literally killed the feeling of driving something as modern looking as it looked on the outside. When driving, you couldn't appreciate the modern design from the inside. It's best to just stand outside and stare. :)

The Automobilia: Car-Men books credit Shiro Nakamura with the Vehicross design. Is the reality a little more complicated than the few sentences that they devote to Nakamura's time at Isuzu?

I plan on talking about Shiro Nakamura original concept in Part 2. and the Differences between the JDM and US Vehicross models. The Nissan GT-R Is a masterpiece.:)
