  • Well, maybe he got lucky like the wood had more space in between after it was repositioned, but anyway it's damn impressive. that kick would do some serious damage to a person.

  • music name please.

  • Regardless of the board thickness it's still 10 inches of damn wood. arguing about board type is really splitting hairs here...

  • i liked the last kick

  • so you can show what power you have without breaking some 1 and if you got hot with that kick by that person you wouldnt hit back eather

  • no it doesn't, but it is a good demonstration of knowing how to apply your techniques and showing that you know how to put your strength into a target and break it: wood, brick, bones. I'm sure you get my drift. A back kick that they feature in this video that breaks through 10 inches of wood could easily shatter ribs.

Its the same reason sword practitioners use bamboo and other solid materials instead of actual human limbs for demonstrating their knowledge of cutting. Its nicer.

  • Actually it does because of reverbiration if you do not break it the hit bounces back at your hand/foot a number of times very frast. That's why if you fail to break it hurts more than actually breaking it. You know unless the wood is paper thin like on some videos. Same as glass has a breaking frequency wood kinda does also.

P.s. not for this video but people get REAL wood to break not 1/8th inch thick piece of bull they use. We use one inch boards #2 white pine.

  • way to be, those 1/8 inch boards are crap unless its for little kids. I also use one inch boards.

  • It's not what you break it's how you break it lol

  • could someone please tell me the name of the song?

  • good kick!

  • damnnnnn

  • Very nice kick.

  • It seems he doesn't "throw" the kick with his body but he execute the kicks after his body is in the position.

  • hey i like the saying its not what you break its how you do it!!! check my vids,

  • ah thats right gm choi he went around the world giving grades to anyone who would say ahaah you general chois son we love you hahah

  • grand master choi and thay put the wood back up

  • first kick misses target but knocks wood out of holder, second hits target but fails to break untill fallen wood hits floor and as for trevors kick i think its not 10 inch and if yes its soft wood.Oh and were did trevor nichols get all his grades from?i always wondered.

  • this is master nicholles 8th dan breakin 10 inch of wood and some of the outhers include mark skyrme 6th deg and the outhers with black stripe on there armes and legs are at least 4th dan
