Hey Cathy, is there a good clinic or doctor in Taiwan that you could recommend for cosmetic enhancements like removing moles or microdermabrasion? What do you think of microdermabrasion? Thanks.
@baobay25 My dear. I go to NTU for all my treatments. It will cost you pennies compared to those famous clinics. The thing with is in Taiwan. unless it is approved by NTU it cannot be used anywhere else so in other words NTU will be the first to use the technology ( botox, hyaluronic acid) I don't like microdermabrasion because it thins the skin. Go to NTU's website and book in their dermatology dept. I see Dr. Chen Hsian Rong
awesome video cathy! it's so helpful to hear a personal experience with this stuff. I'm just wondering have you had any side effects from having botox for 5yr? I'm guessing not since you're still doing it but thought I'd check :-)
@BakedHarp hi dear...the only thing I have experienced is that since my jaw muscles are in atrophy.my cheeks don't have as much support. That's the reason I got the filler to boost it up a bit. The positives out weight the negatives so much more. I don't have migraines, and I don't have facial tension anymore!
Cathyyyy!! Nice nice!! The two lines you mentioned isin't that visble anymore!! Dr gorgia is super awesome right? and omg! botox in taiwan is only 150-200??! How is that possible? Mann!! Thats like so cheap!! We can't get such price here :(( Btw, how much did u paid for ya botoxs? And did you mentioned that getting too much botox will make the cheeks saggg down? omg really?? >.<
@GraciousGlamours hi bb! Yeah botox is very cheap in taiwan because you can get it anywhere at a certified dermatologist. I usually get mine at the hospital, and it's about 140 Sing$. I paid 750$ for my botox here and 1000 for my restylane. OMG yeah I know. Crazy. The cheeks sag after a while if you do botox for facial slimming what I do... ;-( but my face is huge! so it's worth it la!
Your voice is so soothing :P I wish I had a little pocket version of you to talk all things beauty with!
:) I do have a quick question if you have a moment - do you have any experience or insight into fillers for neck lines? I'm 24 and I've have deep horizontal lines on my neck since I was 17... :( boo!
Your skin looks fantastic by the way - not aging at all!
@bunnietech I think restylane is better then juvederm for deep lines but that is to the discretion of your dermo. My doctor does it all the time on neck lines. ;-) Don't worry about pain...it's pretty painless ;-)
when i was buying my first try of BB Creams, she recommended me Missha because it's better quality than Skin79 which is what i wanted to try first since it was so raved. but she said if i wanted to try it, buy it in HK since it's MUCH cheaper. Apparently it doesn't sell well there. idk though. -shrugs- so i'm asking my aunt to get it for me when she goes back. eek
This is a very helpful video. It is nice to hear people talk about Botox and fillers because we generally only see the obvious and sometimes scary cases. I have bruxism too. I carry all my stress in my jaw and get horrible tension headaches and pain across my face. Nothing has helped me so far. I will look into botox treatments.
Thank you so much for sharing this information with us. I have been getting botox for spasm and tremor due to a neurological condition in another part of my body. However I have been interested in doing it for cosmetic purposes. I have been very interested in the fillers. I just today set up an appointment for a facial and consultation. Thanks so much for sharing. Can't thank you enough.
@animalrescuegeek hope you get a good consultation with a good dermo. Your doctor will tell you what type of filler is good or bad. There are 2 brands out there (hyaluronic acid) Juvederm by allergan and Restylane by Medis. Almost the same but by different companies. In my doctor's opinion Restylane is good for deep troughs as the molecules are more stable where as the juvederm is smoother and better to inject in fine areas such as lips and fine lines. Good Luck!
I clench my teeth really bad (I dont realize it at times)...I wonder if botox will help relax that. I am 35 and ready to maybe do some injections, so when I do go, I will ask about that. You look so young and fresh...you have nice plump skin :) Keep us updated!
@rahanson13 I've been getting botox for bruxism for a few years now and it's the best thing ever. I have veneers and it's quite costly of me if keep getting new retainers. So far this is the only method that works for me. Let me know how it works out for you! xoxo
OMG, if you go to Dr G Lee be prepare to spend a lot of money :) She's a nice person, she used to be our GP around Holland Vill :) I can see the difference, wonderful :) Thanks hun!
@boncil99 yeah she gave me a discount because we are neighbours. She's Supa nice and so friendly and gorgeous..... I am def. going back. The staff f TLC could be better but Dr Lee makes it all up!
Who was the doctor in richmond again? I didn't quite catch it and Im really interested cause I live in richmond! :)

@youngandthetasteless Botox is the only thing that has helped me throughout the years for my bruxism. ;-)

I clench my teeth too, I might have bruxism too then? Does insurance cover for that purpose? And does the botox hurt? Thanks for sharing

I like the peach and rosee Chanel powders, they're light reflecting which is so much more natural than the matte look
And let's face it I love Chanel!
victoriaindigo 7 months ago
@victoriaindigo Yeah I love how reflective it is! and it's so soft....hehe that's why it's called poudre douce. LOL I suppose.
