  • The reality- is that there IS A FIRST CAUSE- THIS FIRST CAUSE COULD NOT BE MATERIAL IN NATURE, MATTER CAN'T CREATE ITSELF, NEITHER CAN SPACE, OR EVEN TIME. THIS VERY FIRST CAUSE, MUST HAVE BEEN IMMATERIAL, UNCREATED, UNCAUSED, ETERNAL, ABLE TO TRANSCEND TIME, SPACE, AND MATTER. IT HAD TO EXIST BEFORE ALL ELSE! THE ONLY THING THAT POSSESSES THOSE QUALITIES, IS A VERY AMAZING, SPIRITUALLY DIVINE, SUPERNATURAL BEING(S), AND THIS BEING(S), IS THE DIVINE CREATOR OF ALL THE HEAVENS, AND EARTH

  • I am, therefore, I think! Shakespeare got it backwards! There HAVE been scientific testing that proves that our CONSCIOUS part of us- RESPONDS to stimuli, and simple instructions, a milli-second before our BRAIN does!!! WE HAVE A SPIRIT/SOUL- WHICH IS OUR TRUE BEING. THE CREATOR, MADE US IN HIS OWN IMAGE, THIS MEANS THAT HE CREATED US WITH A SPIRIT. WE ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN FLESH, BLOOD, AND BONE! THE TRUE CHRISTIAN LIFE, IS ONE WHICH FOCUSES ON GROWING SPIRITUALLY- THROUGH OUR SALVAT

  • There is no God of any kind, the believe in God is for ignorant people. Read the latest book by Stephen Hawking, THE GRAND DESIGN, in it he explains how this universe and millons of other universes were created without the need for any God.

  • @acuaman42 Whatever tells you how to think or what do do IS your god. The interpretation of the word god has become quite dogmatic and refers to a concept from a distant past. The human brain is the same as 2000 Years ago, the only thing difference is TV and the web

You believe Hawking (the Prophet) and are to ignorant (lazy) to think for yourself, so you act as a missionary and try to convince others that The Grand Design is the holy book. Religion is a virus, but science is a religion to.

  • @ElijahXL It is not just Stephen Hawking latest book, see in youtube the videos THE ELEGANT UNIVERSE, in them, top scientists explain the origin of this and other universes but in order to understand them you need to know basic quantum mechanics but your comments make me believe that you are not familiar with science at all, you prefer the easy way to believe in a god like people in the past they believed in the rain god, the son god, etc.

  • @acuaman42 How can you extrapolate THAT from a Comment that draws an analogy between religion an science? My friend, we are not communicating.

  • @acuaman42 BTW, it is not scientific to assume that my DEFINITION of "god" is the same as yours. For proper results you should RESEARCH that, which brings me back to my starting point, that you are a DOGMATIC

  • @acuaman42 We can raise precisely the same objection against the atheists and ask them, "If we follow the chain of causality back, we will ultimately reach the primary cause. Let us say that cause is not God, but matter. Tell us who created primary matter. You who believe in the law of causality, answer us Ws: if matter is the ultimate cause of all things, what is the cause of matter?

You say that the source of all phenomena is matter-energy; what is the cause and origin of matter-energy?"

  • @1tabligh If you read THE GRAND DESIGN or see in youtube the videos THE ELEGANT UNIVERSE, your question will be answered. There are millions of other universes which have existed all the time. Some of them appear and others disappear. Is like your body, many of your cells die and many replace them all the time but your body keeps on going. See also the video, dr quantum THE DOUBLE SLIT EXPERIMENT. I hope you will be able to understand it.

    Good luck.

  • Since the chain of causality cannot recede into infinity, they can answer only that matter is an eternal and timeless entity for which no beginning can be posited: matter is non-created, has no beginning or end, and its being arises from within its own nature.

This means that the materialists accept the principle of eternity and non-origination; they believe that all things arose out of eternal matter and that being arises from within the very nature of matter, without any need for a creator.

  • @1tabligh We will never know from where everything comes, it is probably impossible to know that for certain. Outside of what we can observe, there may be no time or space. Maybe there is something else, similar to spacetime, but different. We may have 'come from' this. There is just no way of ever knowing. The thought experiment of trying to work it out is what is important, not the view you subscribe to.

  • @tysonsflag In just the same way that atheist regards matter as eternal, believers in God attribute eternity to God. Belief in an eternal being is then common to materialist and religious philosophers: both groups agree that there is a primary cause, but believers in God regard the primary cause as wise, all-knowing, and possessing the power of decision and will, whereas in the view of the materialists, the primary cause has neither consciousness, intelligence, perception, nor the

  • of decision.

Thus, the removal of God in no way solves the problem posed by eternal being.

Moreover, matter is the locus for motion and change, and its motion is dynamic and situated within its own essence. Now, essential motion is incompatible with eternity, and matter and essential stability are two mutually exclusive categories that cannot be fused in a single locus.

  • Both interesting and illuminating, thank you.

  • Nonsense world philosophy. Its our evil desires that doesnt allow us to be at peace. It has nothing to do with breathing or being conscious. And the only way to find true rest for the mind, is by believing in God. The answer is love, not medetation, or yoga, or anything like that.

  • @cmpresents I don't believe that at all. Each person has the capacity for peace, patience, love, and understanding. Most of us are selfish beings. It's all we know. I believed in a god for 40 years and was always unhappy. It was only when I finally started exploring the concept of god, the universe, and humanity that I came to the point that I could let all that go and be happier. Nobody listening to my thoughts. I am me. I am going to die someday. Live right. Be happy. Treat others well.

  • @CardinalJunky Having the capacity doesn't mean anything. Live right, why, why can't I live however I want. If I didn't believe in God, if I wasn't a christian. I would be the most selfish person, I would be totaly uncaring, except for my family and friends. If someone was to convince/convert me to not beliee in God. I would be the devil in the flesh. And your opinion of me, would not matter to me one bit.

  • @cmpresents So, really......if you didn't believe in god, you would be uncaring? Says more about your personal morality and how you feel about others than it does being a Christian or anything else. I, personally, do not need a god to know that I want to treat others well. And if believing in god is the only reason someone acts with a moral compass, I'd say that's pathetic.

  • @CardinalJunky My personal morality, if there is no God, my personal morality is the same as a dog. What are you talking about. If there is no God, you have no morality, you are just behaving according to some culture programming. By the way I don't like the word morality, I like the word love, as in ltnats. God is like the image of our parents, they teach us how to behave. The feelings you get are a giving, they are not eminating from you, they are a reaction. I'm an expert in this subject.

  • @cmpresents I dont believe that you r evil if dont believe in God (in the Christian sense). True bhuddist and Hindu practitioners generally are the most peaceful n respectful people.I prefer not knowing God and being like them than being like many christian and being highly materialist and capitalist, over using our resources, driving big cars, having the latest apple and designer products and still going around and saying that God is the only way.Would u think a bhuddist monk is evil??

  • @cmpresents You don't need god for anything. You're delusional.

  • Well said!
