Just a lot of super rich People enjoying paradise 100 miles away from Manhattan. It's all money now, Billy Joel, DUI on his motorcycle, Howard Stern ... It is Paradise!
i was not born in sag harbor but vie lived here for 13 years now and vie worked in many places in sag harbor and i know the megnas i go to school with their son and this video kind of makes it look like a hick town to be honest you need to see it in the summer iverthing comes to life all day and night. although there are more people by far....there are more fun things to do and more things to do in general. its a nice town, it is very small but i don't know everyone yet lol
i am born and raised in sag harbor. i gotta tell you there is nothing to do. the only fun me and my frends have is in the summer when the ''Cityots" (annoying city people) come out and act like they own the place. the reason is becase they veiw us as rednecks. so me and my frends walk to town and throw smoke greanades and bomb bags around.
I went to pierson high for 4 years 1969 to 1972. The video sure brings back memories. I kept the sound down so no comment on that.
Used to hang out at the paradise restaurant until a Whalerburger was built. That became THE burger place after basketball games. Some of the best years of my life were spent there.
Love, love, LOVE Sag Harbor! The Pier, the theater, Murph's Tavern, The Corner, The American Hotel and all of Division Street! Merry Christmas and my best to all the locals!
I liked the video...would've liked to see more of the streets in the village though, The Old Whaler's Church & Oakland Cemeteries..What about Pierson?
I was born & raised in Sag Harbor and though it's got a quaint feel to it, it is NOTHING like it was when I was a kid! When all the young ones move out cuz they can't afford to live where their ancestors were raised it's pretty freakin' sad!
It is my familys been here sints 1640 its like being in mexico now makes me sick to see all this free loaders and yuppy faggots scewing it up for the good people that belong here.
as much as i hate the yuppies that come to sag, they do basically pay our salaries even though just about every one of them looks like a COMPLETE tool/douchebag/typical asshole in their fancy sportscars that they don't know how to drive. they suck, but there's no denying that we would be nothing without the money they pour into our town.
Way to make Sag Habor look like some back woods hick town. And "Off" season? There would be no off season if it weren't for you rich assholes that come out and piss everyone off.
yo fuck all these city fagget as mothafuckas commin threw here and shit it says everyone knos everyone but i dont kno any of the bitch as motha fuckas who makin this movie
"We all eat at Sen, we all eat at the American Hotel. Our art is completely boring."
Love Sag. Love art. But, despite the hype, the two don't really live together. To live in Sag, you gotta be rich. Rich old artists, these days, tend to produce really safe, dull stuff.
Love Espresso for Lunch. Conca D'Ora is great. Corner Bar, Cigar Bar ...
I have lived in Sag Harbor for 25 years!! came from Kenya, have no idea what I'm doing here but I love it. had a white picket fence in front of my house and painted it dark green - a little more African, maybe. I am part of the literary community here. You left out E.L. Doctorow, Tom Harris and so many others. It's a good place - don't promote it too much!
wtf, dont tell the fucking cuty people where we live , get them the fuck outta here over the summer, and all the hamtons! well atleast the town of southampton, and easthampton , and fucking montauk ! stay the fuck away !
i love sag harbor, my grandmother had lived there for over 80 years..my father was raised there... and my great uncle Edwin Bill's name is engraved on the plaque on the Firehouse on Main Street..my family has so much history there and I used to go there every summer..I was there recently and I still love it <3 Thanks for putting this video up.
Maybe its because you have to either be mega rich or born into the soil to live there, but the art scene on the east end is so 'safe and sane' it hurts. Completely boring.
Great video, if anyone wants to see a pretty sight, visit Sag Harbor in the Winter months. I'm a former resident of Southampton but always liked Sag Harbor's quaint, rustic charm. Lots of great memories coming back....thanks!

Don't think I'm a rich snob when i say I have a summer home in sag harbor because I my self hate those rich bastards that build houses on the beach
Tight lines, the corner bar, long beach, and the mean geese
